We are being taught to live within our means. Letting go of the old ways for many of us is a problem. We so want change, to go forth, to follow a different direction, a different path, but we cling to the past because the old is comfortable, it is familiar, it is safe. Have you ever noticed that when we don't make major decisions, life makes those decisions for us? And that is OK, but why wait that long, when we can let go now and go forth and have what we desire, go the way we want, follow our heart's desires without fear. I'm sure you also know how we have to clean our closets out to make room for the new, so aside from literally cleaning our closets and drawers which truly affects our physical and mental space in a good way, prepare now by clearing your minds of the limiting thoughts and beliefs, those that hold you where you don't want to be. Letting go of that that no longer serves our needs opens space for something new. Even attachments to material possessions can hold us back. If you lost all your material possessions today, what would be left? Body, Mind, and Soul! All that is needed to go forth unencumbered. Where there is Love, there can be no fear. To step into the future takes Faith, it takes courage to move onward, a knowing that you are devinely guided, so embrace that dream....move towards it this year, starting with baby steps. It is like waking up to a NEW DAY with the sun shining, a song in your voice, a glint in your eye, and an idea in your thought. The sun may not shine everyday, but you can be assured that your God goes with you whenever and wherever you choose. Keep your heart and thoughts filled with Love and Make 2009 be what you want it to be. Love, Barbara

Good to see a true visionaries approach of what we all know must happen to some degree and deal with in the new world economy. Just my opinion, I look at the future as taking one step back too take ten steps forward. My philosophy is to help others, form positive relationships and move forward with an attitude that makes it a win-win situation for all.
Your great post of hope and faith in 2009 helps those in need of understanding what we as a team can offer in the New Year. It is a tribute to forming long term relationships that can bring peace of mind and an understanding of what the future can offer. We can be part of our personal and business growth by forming an alliance to help one another understand we are all in this together.
Thanks to Susan forming this outstanding network we can start to take the next step forward.
I look forward to growing and supporting the team with a positive attitude in 2009, Carole.

Yes, we had to step back to see where we are and where we are going. It is definitely a New Day for us...another Way and a Good Day!
The Geese need to learn to stay out of engines, but may we learn the lessons of the Geese!
Lessons from Geese Fact 1: As each goose flaps its wings, it creates an "uplift" for the birds that follow. By flying in a "V" formation, the whole flock adds 71% greater flying range than if each bird flew alone. Lesson: People who share a common direction and sense of community can get where they are going quicker and easier because they are traveling on the thrust of one another. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fact 2: When a goose falls out of formation, it suddenly feels the drag and resistance of flying alone. It quickly moves back into formation to take advantage of the lifting power of the bird immediately in front of it. Lesson: If we have as much sense as a goose, we stay in formation with those headed where we want to go. We are willing to accept their help and give our help to others. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fact 3: When the lead goose tires, it rotates back into the formation, and another goose flies to the point position. Lesson: It pays to take turns doing the hard tasks and sharing leadership. As with geese, people are interdependent on each other's skills, capabilities and unique arrangements of gifts, talents or resources. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fact 4: The geese flying in formation honk to encourage those up front to keep up their speed. Lesson: We need to make sure our honking is encouraging. In groups where there is encouragement, the production is much greater. The power of encouragement (to stand by one's heart or core values and encourage the heart and core of others) is the quality of honking we seek. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fact 5: When a goose gets sick, wounded or shot down, two geese drop out of formation and follow it down to help and protect it. They stay with it until it dies or is able to fly again. Then, they launch out with another formation or catch up with the flock. Lesson: If we have as much sense as geese, we will stand by each other in difficult times as well as when we are strong. from the work of Milton Olson
