Penny Haynes | | I have gotten a rather strong response to my public notification today that I was going to submit my book, "101 Things To Do With Audio And Video (To Promote Your Business)", to a major publisher, especially since there's no other book out there like it.
Several people tried to talk me out of it in favor of self-publishing. I don't have the money to invest in self-publishing right now, and honestly thought of it as vanity publishing. My goal is to establish myself as an expert from an outside source - hence the thought of publishing it externally.
If any of you have experience in this area (meaning you have been published), I'd love to know your experience, and if you would do it again, or if you would self-publish.
