Anand K. R | | Does anybody knows any gelling agent that isnt based on animal sources? Went and bought a pack of Gelatin but on reading found that it is made from animal bone.

other substitutes are guar gum, corn gum, arrowroot, kudzu, groundnut paste . . . . exact choice of depends on what you are making and the consistency and taste alteration permissible . . .
