My business consulting in New Zealand hasn't been what I expected. Lots of demand for low cost accounting services. Not much interest in planning or knowledge management. Willingness to write a business plan to get finance, but no real interest in using that plan as a management tool.
My special interest is innovation. Lots of talk about innovation as a concept, but everyone wants to be so "secret" about it the innovation dies, by lack of stimulus and starvation.
I've always wanted to do better. What really did work was creating small private groups of business peers like mastermind groups, (Action Learning) but I couldn't generate sufficient fees that way.
So I'm looking to help myself and thousands of independent consultants like myself. I'm suggesting we try to find some common ground for business to business association.
Can you help me in this way.

Invite two business coaches or consultants you know to do the same. Hopefully soon after Easter we'll have a 100 or so discussion participants. It should only take a week or two to see if there is any real interest.
Can we do that much?
Then we will see if there is. or is not, a business opportunity in working together.
