Now, we can choose whether to work at home, be a stay-at-home mom, or even build a business from home AND be a stay at home mom at the same time. Choices are great! I personally like the last option, and network marketing can make this a reality. I wrote an article today that I want to share with you. I welcome you opinion of it. --------------------------------------------
Is network marketing for you?
Network marketing, which is also called multi-level marketing, has been helping people in these hard economical times, according to NBC13. Have you considered building your own business using network marketing strategies? Let's explore what network marketing is, who it's for, and if this is a type of business into which you would like to venture.
Network Marketing is “a marketing strategy that compensates promoters of direct selling companies not only for product sales they personally generate, but also for the sales of others they introduced to the company”, as stated in Wikepedia. It’s been criticized by many who don’t understand how it works, and yet it has helped many build an amazing business that helps them pay off the monthly bills, put their kids through college, and so much more.
I believe that network marketing is an amazing way to build a business. It gives absolutely everyone the opportunity to build a business from home at low start-up cost and low overhead monthly expenses. It’s brilliant! It’s perfect for stay-at-home moms, teachers, lawyers, students and retired peoples, and anyone else who has the entrepreneurial spirit in them, but does not have the money to purchase a well-known franchise.
Personally, I am a stay-at-home mom who loves helping people getting fit and healthy for life. Network Marketing is helping me build a business so that I can help people all across the U.S and around the world, and I am so thankful to have this opportunity. I am involved with Young Living Essential Oils, the world-leader of therapeutic-grade oils and products and supplements enhanced with these oils, as well as Team BeachBody, the company that helps people all across the U.S get fit and healthy from the comfort of their own home by offering fun fitness video series, as well as an amazing supplemental shake called Shakeology, which takes the place of six supplements. The fact that I can help people all across the country and around the world, and be compensated for it, as I watch my kids grow and develop is simply priceless. Network Marketing has made it possible for me to live a dream life.
You may be wondering whether network marketing is meant for you, so let’s explore that possibility. Are you a person that really wants and enjoys helping people around the world, or across the country, achieve their financial goals and dreams? Network marketing might be ideal for you! Are you a person who loves to lead by teaching and inspiring people without having to beat the competition? I would definitely consider network marketing. Are you a person who always has wanted to build your own business, but it just seems to cost to much to start your own business, and the monthly costs are just way out of your budget? Consider getting into a network marketing business.
Network marketing gives millions of people around the world the opportunity to take control of their lives and their financial future, regardless of their gender, how popular they were at school, how good-looking they are, or who their parents may be. It’s an opportunity open to everyone as long as they have a desire to learn the skills and want is a go-getter. In this type of opportunity, you are in business by yourself, but you always have someone in a higher position to which you can turn if you have any questions. The leaders are willing to teach and train you so you can build a successful business. As long as you remember that this is not get-rich-quick scheme, and are willing to learn all you can about network marketing, as well as the business and the products offered by the company with which you sign up, you will do well and you will achieve your financial goals and dreams.
The start-up cost of the business varies, but it usually ranges between $40 and $150. Usually you are required a monthly PV (personal volume) which can be achieved by buying products yourself, or getting others to buy on your online store. However, the monthly PV is a tax write-off since that is one of the monthly costs required to run your business. Other monthly expenses will be monthly advertising, which will include your own website, and any place you may choose to advertise like the yellow pages or Google ads. Personally, I don’t do a lot of advertising. I have budgeted the monthly costs of the personal website, and I write a lot of articles and post on social networks, like Ryze and Facebook, as well as ezinearticles.com. People purchase things or want to get in business with people they know or that they believe actually knows their stuff, so my writing articles I give the chance to prove to myself to people, so to speak. I want people to view me as a fitness and health ‘guru’, as well as a network marketing leader.
Network marketing offers the opportunity to strengthen and rebuild our self-esteem and self-confidence. When I was in highschool and college I was an introvert and was extremely shy. People around me can’t believe how much I have changed, and my mom is really amazed to see what a confident woman I have become. I can take rejection a lot better now that I have faced rejection in network marketing. I can continue to move forward even when the going gets touch. I have set goals for myself, and I strive to achieve them all the time. My self-confidence and self-esteem have definitely been strengthened since I started my own network marketing company, and I thank God for that all the time.
Network Marketing offers life-changing business education. Even if you don’t succeed at one business, you can take what you have learned there, and apply it to another network marketing business until you find the one that you are really passionate about and that you want to continue building for a lifetime. Every company offers a different type of education, so learn all you can along the way and apply it. Never throw away the knowledge you have acquired. You never know how it can help you one day.
Building a business through network marketing style allows you to be able to spend more time with your family. Life is too short to spend it commuting to and from the office everyday. A network marketing business allows you to get up in the morning, enjoy a good workout, a nutritious breakfast, and then work a few hours on the computer helping the people on your business get ahead, or answering emails from your customers. You can then spend some time with your spouse or kids travelling, or going to the park or pool, or whatever you enjoy doing. You can take vacation time any time during the year and you don’t have to ask in advance to get that week off. You can spend a lot more time with your family working this type of business.
A network marketing business is a great investment, much better than a 401k or an IRA. It gives you the opportunity of residual income coming in when you are ready to retire, and you will not have to depend on social security income. If you build a networking business that offers products that help you stay healthy, you will enjoy both financial wealth, and good health to enjoy your retirement years.
Network marketing could be a wonderful blessing for you and your family. It will give you the residual income that you need when you retire, it will give you freedom to work when you want and where you want, it will allow you more time with your family, and it’s a low-cost opportunity for everyone who has the entrepreneurial spirit in them, no matter what race or gender they are or who their parents may be. Will you consider network marketing for yourself? ------------------------------------- Have a blessed day. Let us know what your thoughts are on network marketing, after reading the article ;)

As a business owner who is also a Marketing Executive for a health and wellness company, I get to see both sides of the fence. While network marketing isn't for everyone there are aspects that can be used in any business. I call my business' affiliate program the same concept with a different name. People refer other to me and get paid to do so. Same thing I do as a Marketing Executive. It's amazing to me just how many new ideas I've gotten for my business by being open to how network marketing works. Thanks for sharing and God bless. In 2005 I heard about an amazing discovery and I knew I just had to help people by telling them about it. With no experience in the network marketing business I went forward. I learned from my upline and followed his example as it was easily duplicated. I told others. They loved the product and I taught them how to tell others. Before I knew it I had a very large and growing group.
As a result I grew from this experience. I became a good teacher and leader. I benefited physically and financially. And I got a feeling of great satisfaction having accomplished my goal.
If I can do it, so can you.

It's about using products that help US in some way, and then recommending them to others. DirecTV offers $100 to us and $100 to the person that signs up through us, but that is the extent of the money they give out. With network marketing, it goes deeper... and I love it!! I think it is soooo cool that a company chooses to reward us for recommending products that help us live better. It's a business that can be done part-time, while doing something else, or full time. It depends on what our priorities are.

I believe that network marketing isn't for everyone (namely, me!), but that it can certainly bring value and extra income to others who either may not accept, and/or simply are not able to hold a traditional means of income such as a full time job outside the home, etc.
