Have you ever participated in a plexo survey? This is where you vote a something up or down. You have a list of statements and at the end of the statement there is an up and a down arrow. If you want to cast a vote in favor of the statement, you click the up arrow. If you want to vote the statement down, you click the down arrow. What difference does you vote make? It changes the ranking for the statements listed. But, that is not all a plexo survey can do. It can also allow you to add a statement to the list for the purpose of increasing its thoroughness and impact.

Where would a plexo survey come in handy? Well, it could be used to add more "buzz" to a festival planned for a shopping center. In fact, that is how I am using it. However, I have been informed there may be a slight drawback regarding public participation. You see, this particular plexo is on a Squidoo lens. In order to participate, the public must join Squidoo. But, that should be no problem because there is no cost involved in joining Squidoo. Plus, when you join Squidoo, the ability to post to the Guest Book is enhanced with your photo next to your printed comments.

Would you like to see a real, live, example of a plexo survey? Visit Hardesters Shopping Center's Spring Fling. I would love to have Ryzers from around the world helping to create some buzz for this event. Just because you cannot physically attend does not mean you cannot encourage those who can do so. Try it and see. If your posting to the plexo and Guest Book is followed up by other postings, you will know you have made a positive impact.
