Ken Lee Bringing you more customers | | I have been a member of Ryze since 2003. During that time several opportunities have come and gone. Several networks have come and gone and most importantly, several Ryzers have come and gone.
As a person who cut his teeth on MLM in the 70s and has been burned several times, I have observed a few things and would like to share them in an effort to help everyone here grow their businesses.
First, look around at some of the people who come here. They possess a great deal of accumen that can be learned from. Are you learning from them? Are you reading posts and gleaning information that will contribute to your RMBA (Ryze MBA)?
Not many of us do and we don't stay around long as a result. What I've observed is that people come here with their eyes seeing dollar signs. They see exposure, free advertising and instant success. When that doesn't happen, they leave. They don't leave before they have tried to market "hundreds" of "the best thing since sliced bread" programs though.
I believe that there are some very simple, relevant principles that can be followed.
1) There ain't no such thing as a free lunch
2) If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is
3) Someone has to sell some soap. Focus on the product, not the prospect.
4) Not everyone is cut out for sales
5) Those who are cut out for sales are wired for different markets; big ticket, small ticket, tangible, intangible, retail, wholesale. One size doesn't fit all.
With these thoughts, I would encourage each of us to find a product or service we can be passionate about. Find a company that markets it we can be loyal to and then work all phases of the business, not just the recruiting angle. Use Ryze as a resource, not just for prospects but for education and expertise available for free.
