Denis Gibbon | | It's 3 a.m. on Saturday morning here. The rain has been steady through the night. I love the sound of rain. Recently I received a DVD entitled "A Drop Of Water". What an amazing substance water is. Scientists are finding that water has a memory and may be instrumental in communicating information throughout the planet. What an amazing idea that is! Unfortunately the film is not available on the internet, but if you are really interested you could track it down.
I have been very busy with one thing and another and because my health has significantly improved since my major surgery I have decided to resume my formal study. I guess I will have to learn to touch type. Previously I did all of my tutorials in handwriting which I really prefer to typing. The problem is that now the assignments need to be submitted online. Anyway, I am looking forward to getting on with it. It's not that I have stopped studying because I would never do that. Study is very much a part of my life.
I have never been a great fan of the bible, but today I received a video link to what I found to be a very inspirational overview of the bible. Well, I often wonder how you are all doing. I would love to see some posts now and again. I know you are probably very busy with this and that, but it would be nice to hear from you. One of my major interests is Natural Medicine. I would love to discuss any ideas you might wish to share on any of the many modalities which comprise this fascinating body of knowledge.
That's it for now. I certainly hope you have a very enjoyable and refreshing weekend. Oh, one more thing. At one minute past one on the seventh of July I became a grandad to Alisa, my son's first child.

I hope u r feeling well...though do not know much abt wht the surgery was all about.....but do wish hope and pray for your speedy recovery....
Also, reading about the various topics dat you touch on and the enthusiasm that you have towards learning n acquiring knowledge...living life to the fullest is just absolutely fantastic....it simply amuses me no end.....please keep it up...and wish you only the best.....

I have it at present and it is very painful. I saw the Doctor but he didn't know of any magic to relieve it. Shingles, or Herpes Zoster as it is called, is a viral infection caused by the same virus that causes Chicken Pox. I had Chicken Pox as a child, but the virus stays in our bodies throughout our lives and sometimes causes this painful outbreak called Shingles. Apart from that I am fairly well at present and I hope you are too.
Today I am going to experiment with Aloe vera on my Shingles rash. I know Aloe vera is very virucidal and has cooling and soothing properties. Fortunately I have a mature plant which is over 5 years old. These have the best medicinal effects. Aloe vera is also great for relieving sunburn.
We had rain during the day, but no rain tonight. I hope today will be warmer and sunnier than it was yesterday.

Well, after all that I didn't get to using Aloe vera after all. It was too wet and cold to venture outside to pick a leaf, but I came up with another idea which is showing some promise. Time will tell. At least it hasn't got worse since I used this new medicine and I was able to get a good night's sleep. I won't tell you what I am using until I prove it works.

it is xtrmly hot out here in the UAE....d mercury reaches to almost 45 degrees n above....!!!! it is so v cold n wet at ur end... irony of the situation.!!!! GOD n HIS creation !!!

My Heartfelt wishes to your Grand Daughter Alisa and Congrats to you. We in India believe that the first Grand-daughter always brings both Good health and Wealth to the entire family .
I have not seen the DVD on "A Drop Of Water", but however am convinced that all the water particles in this earth are interconnected to each other and even the humans mind through their heart, can connect the water within them with the water flowing as rivers and even with the water beneath the earth.
I am sorry to hear that you are suffering from Shingles. Please apply “Turmeric paste”. Infact Turmeric powder has lots of medicinal properties to cure Shingles. Or you can add pure Honey with the Aloe Vera and apply the same. Please see my personal message to you. Mud Bath (Clay paste applied to the portions infested with the rashes) is another solution. Please Try.

It is 3 a.m. on Saturday 18 July in my part of the world. I awoke from a restful sleep at midnight. My shingles is receding. It seems that the Homeopathic Medicine did its work. I used Rhus toxicodendron (Poison Ivy). The rash produced by Poison Ivy is very similar to the Herpes rash.
Foe anyone who may not know, Homeopathy is based on the principle of 'like cures like'. For example onion given homeopathically would be very likely to be effective for the symptoms of a runny nose, sneezing and watery eyes relieved by exposure to open air.
I took extra doses of Tumeric internally as well, so it would have helped too. Tumeric is a powerful substance with many healing properties.

My father-in-law has suffered off and on for several years with shingles. He also suffered greatly from exposure to poison ivy when they lived in Michigan. It would be nice to recommend a natural relief to him.
