Denis Gibbon | | It is early morning and I have just risen from a rather restful sleep. It is actually 4:24 a.m. I love the early morning hours because they are so quite and peaceful. They provide me with a time to reflect on the things that really matter in life. The other day I heard an interesting idea about where we find God. The answer I was given was not a place. According to this idea God is found in our actions. Actions of course include thinking, speaking and all forms of doing.
I like this idea because because so much of what we do involves us in making our lives better, at least hopefully that is what we should all be aiming for. There are always difficulties and sufferings in life which need to be addressed. It will always be that way. The important thing is how we handle these difficulties and sufferings. It is such a comfort to know that God is with us in all of them and His wisdom is available to us should we need it.
