Someone on whom we were relying let's us down, or we suddenly find we have lost someting valuable or important to us. Maybe sickness or even a death suddenly interrupts our plans. Goodness me there are so many ways that we can become unhappy that it would be impossible to list all of them. This life is characterized by chaos. It is a life in which Murphy's Law very often applies. Murphy's Law simply states that what can go wrong will go wrong. I am sure that we can all remember times when our lives were turned upside down through a series of misfortunate events which came all at or about the same time.
There is another memory which I am sure we have all experienced when everything worked out perfecly. We were amazed at how smoothly and well everything turned out. We enjoyed a wonderful holiday or period of time or special occasion which was free from all kinds of misfortunes. We could call it a time of blessing.
The question is what made the difference. Maybe you would like to share your views.

Think about "The Wizard of Oz" for examples. :-) Private Reply to Ken Hilving | | |
