Denis Gibbon | | There are always people who like us and those who don't. Many people wh don't like us would never tell us, but there are some that do. Very often the people who value our friendship would never let us know our faults. Usually, only a friend who is very close to us would do that. Whatever the case, we need to know our faults so we can take steps to correct them.
Sometimes our worst enemies can be our best Teachers.
Having a personal Mentor or Coach is popular these days. Surely life and lifestyle are important enough to us to take the effort to improve them. Nevertheless, it does not matter to what lengths we go to, there will always be people we can never please, but that is not the point because our purpose is to please ourselves and those closest to us as best as we can.
When it is all said and done, every aspect of our lives, everything we do, is a form of art. What we have and the circumstances we find ourselves in provide us with the artist's materials to make the best art we can to express our own uniqueness as a valued member of the community in which we live.

Denis Gibbon | | Here is a challenge that will give you a big blessing if you are willing to do it:
I have certainly been upset by people at times and have actually cut off communication with them, only to realise later how selfish my motives had been. On this realization I re-established contact with them and after that everything was fine again. Sometimes it is difficult to forgive people for the things they have done to hurt or anger us, but we never really know their full intentions and the circumstances of their lives at the time.
There is surely a great blessing in reconciliation.

Kathy Munson | | Sometimes it's clean when people do not like you. They may be avoidant or stand-offish. I would rather someone tell me they don't like me.
