Looking for a plug in for wordpressViews: 79
Sep 08, 2009 6:59 pmLooking for a plug in for wordpress#

I have a client who does not want to have the titles of the pages to show up on her website. Is there a plug in to be able to have the titles show up in wordpress admin but not on the actual page on the website on the internet?

Or is there another way to do this. I haven't run across this before.

Thanks.

Yes hack the code and take out the var for the title in the pages. But then she will not be standards compliant.

yeah that is what I thought, will that mess it up with the search engines?

Thank you Scott, how would you explain to a client that you need those headers there? I know standard compliant but is there a better way to explain it.

Not sure. I tried to explain Quantum Mechanics tomy cat. I think teeh outcome will be the same. YOu coudl tell them they will be penalized by the engines and trated as spam pages. Why don't they want the titles?

Scott that is a good idea. The site only has 5 basic pages no posts as of yet...I think my client will eventually add them however she just doesn't like the titles...home, about etc

I think I have an idea, it just hit me thanks Scott!
