My mom and Nana always got dressed up to answer the door. We usually had fun costumes, not too many scary outfits through the years, and we rarely wore masks.
So I have been busy dumping my Halloween closet, washing, mending, taking inventory and throwing away, to get ready.
For Halloween dinner we always had hot dogs, pork, saurkraut, and mashed potatoes. Not my favorite meal to eat but I love the smell, it gets started after lunch and slow simmers for a few hours. Hot dogs were added a few minutes before we ate.
How is your fall? Do you have any fall traditions?
Susan

I do like the Christmas holiday which begins for me from October to January 15, usually, don't know about this year. I don't really feel anything about holidays.
