Susan Graves | | Step #1
When you get signed in
Go to the Left Hand side
You will see your Name example - Susan's Page
Click on Edit Personal Infor
Click on Profile
Fill in your name
Industries - theses are things people can seach on to find you
so if you have a favorite thing you love to talk about add it, add your
current business, you can add medical, sales, real estate, poltics, construction,
network marketing, mlm, international business marketing etc...
You can change all information later so don't spend hours worrying
about making it perfect
Add the business experience you had in the past, again this is
just away for people who have worked in those companies or industries
to find you. They have 4 spaces for you to fill in if you want to add
more click on add another company
Step #2
Fill in your current location - just an idea for people to know where you live now and where you were born or raised.
Caution - never use your address, or development name. This information
is public and sorry but there are weirdo's in the world. So if you
meet someone meet them in a public place a few miles from your home
You can fill in universities or schools you attended and your
interests - When filling in your interests fill in things you do or
would love to do if you did not have to work, this way you will meet
like people
Birthday - my recommendation is never ever fill in your birthday on
the internet
click if you are male or female
other websites
Personal Home Page: if you have a personal website fill in the name -
http://www.your website name.com (or org, bus, net etc)
Company Home Page: - fill in your business page here I send
people right to - http://www.your website name.com
you may want to send people to a content page on your company website
rather then the home page
Blog Home Page -
CLICK on UPDATE PROFILE to save what you just added
Click on Edit Personal Info again and contiue
clicking on each option and filling in information to buid your page
On Home page contents
Write about yourself, what you like to do for fun, why you work at
home, funny stories tou have written, a joke or quote, Make it all
about you its a way people can read a little and learn a lot about you.
You you find many members use their pages as big ads for whatever they
are doing, be very careful of those pages many of those people change
business every other month and it alwsy the biggest best way to get
rich quick. Make your page fun and about you and your interests
, you will meet more people
Hint - after you type up wat you want to share, go back and make breaks so yout text is not all run together.
type < br > (don't type the spaces) after a sentence so the next sentence will begin on a new line
type < p > after a sentence so the next sentence will have a blank line between sentences. Creating white space on you page makes it easier to read. Play around with < br > and < p > till you get the look you like
Step #3
Continue under your name page options add a photo
Click on Preferences
These are the settings I use (you can change later if they are not good
options for you)
click in the box next too:
Private Message E-mail Notification
Guest book open to all ----This is VERY important to have turned on
Friends List open to all
Display how recently you logged in on your Ryze home page
Click on UDATE Preferences
to save your options
Step #4
Now the fun begins!!
At the top of the page
Click on the Tab "Networks" (it might be slow just wait 1 minute)
You can create a network if you pay for a ryze membership
But you can join networks other members have built if you are free member or paying member
Go to Search Networks
type in something you are passionate about or know alot about
Like
Golf
Writing
Books
Sewing
a list of networks will appear
Click on the networks and see how old the last post is if its a few days old, join the network
When you join it will ask you if you give permission for e-mails to be sent to you I click on its okay for the owner of the network to e-mail me, but do not want to get e-mails for every post added.
You can change the notifications later if you get too many e-mails
Find 3 or 4 networks to join
Step #5
Click on your page (over on the left your name's page)
Cool Huh?
You will see all the information you typed in and the networks you joined.
Step #6
Click on one of the networks you joined
READ the RULES every network has different rules.
If they say you can introduce yourself
add a post - again not an ad
make the post about you why you joined ryze and why you joined the network
Read through some of the posts. If you can reply to a post jump in.
Warning - if there are negative posts say away from them, keep with
the positive and you will meet positive people
Some networks have ad days - if its the right day jump in and post an
ad, just follow that networks rules - most have you place BA, od ADV or
AD in front of any ads you post
Remember to be active on the network on days other than ad days
Step #7
Now lets go find some people
On the left side of every page you can always find the options to go back to your page, above it you will see find people
Type in a name - just the 1st name will work
Now you can search for people you want to meet
type in an interest, or type in your state and find the people in your sate that are members (make sure you choose a country so the list is not too long)
A list of members will appear, start clicking on names
As pages open if members have signed the guest book scroll to the bottom if there is a blank box you can add a message.
Read the other messages other people have left, click on the other names on the the page and you will go to other members pages
Click anround and meet new people
Do not sign more then 20 pages in 1 day or you will get blocked as a spammer. Also each message needs to be different. And most ryzers find it rude to make your meassge an ad or to have your website in the note. If people like what you write they will come to your page and leave you a message. If they are interested in what you do they will click on your company website link
Stop by my page - do a search on Susan Graves
and leave me a message and I will stop by your page
One last warning there is a option to leave private messages, I find it rude for people to leave a private message if it could have been a message on my page. If they have a question like they want a catalog
and want to leave their phone number or address than that would be a okay think to private message someone.
Step #8
Go to the top of the page on the left
Click on the Ryze Home tab
Scroll to the bottom of the page and you can see a list of the newest Ryze members Click on each person to meet the newest members

Most important - Have FUN meet new and fun people

Joseph L. Rosenberg | | Sue: After updating your home page, you can use the link to see thirty random profiles at a time, then another thirty, etc. When I started here this feature was prominent and that was how I got to meet new people. Ryze has kept this feature but hidden it.You might want to try it.

Joseph L. Rosenberg | | Sue: I also recommend under preferences getting the weekly status update. I regularly post events where I speak at local colleges at the NJ network, and in the events section. Everyone in New Jersey who subscribes to the weekly status will get the link to the events that week in the state.
