That's great to read but I'm already convinced that Forever Living is a winner! My experience tells me so.

In a sales meeting a few months ago, VP of Sales Carl Zander stated that we were on target for 3 Billion in sales for 2009. Also, this list is of direct selling companies in general and not mlm specific. If you focus on the strict mlm's on the list, Forever moves up to, at worst, 4th place, and if sales projections are realized, 2nd place!

Of course, lists aren't everything. Quality products, ethical management, value pricing, and a lucrative compensation plan are the most important things to look for. Oh wait, Forever comes out on top there too!

It's interesting that Avon's numbers are so strong. Aside from the age of the company, it's perhaps also an indication that people put their image and appearance ahead of their health. Cosmetics sell well no matter how bad the economy gets!

Not suprising that image out-ranks health - just consider how we're constantly bombarded with ads that focus on image; politicians care about image (often times more than substance), etc. Of course, if people paid more attention to health, they might not need as much help with image.

I not surprised at this at all.

Avon is a HOUSEHOLD NAME!

They have branded themselves real good, cheap prices and many monthly specials that fit anyones budget and like you said Cosmetics is recession proof!
But they have much more than "cosmetics" Tim.
They DO have vitamins and clothes and jewelry and books and kids toys and kitchen supplies and much more.
They are much more than a cosmetic company although it is cosmetics that branded them.

They will only continue to grow, just like Mary Kay.

Yay for Avon! AND Forever Living which this thread is about.

FL is a real success story. I did consider joining FL at one time but I love the aloe products (and auto products and jewelry) that I have from mine and I dont want to to switch. I have used the products for five years.
They dont have aloe toothpaste though so I Bought FL's.
Love it and that is my new brand of toothpaste. :)

Awesome job FL. Thanks Deb u'r right AVON is so much more. I have been a rep for the last 8 months and am loving it. While cosmetics are somewhat recession proof, I am still struggling. Thats why I join Ryze and this board. I like everyone want to grow my business and AVON does have a good pay plan. Sorry maybe this sound like I am writing an ad. As I continue to read the board, I so hope to be able to use your alls expertise to learn networking.
