Tim Flowers | | That's good news! Fruta Vida is a good product and it's very reasonably priced to get started as a distributor. But I hope their new website allows the option of ordering individual products without becoming a member. I don't see where that's possible at the moment.

Dear Fruta Vida Team Members,
It is with deep regret that we have to give the following announcement. After many months of negotiation with the current owner of Fruta Vida, Anthony Shaw, with the desire to enter into an agreement to purchase Fruta Vida International Inc., negotiations have failed and we are unable to proceed.
Fruta Vida is a company and product that has always been very near and dear to our hearts. Our intention was to finalize an agreement with Mr. Shaw in order to continue the high level of customer service we have been able to bring to the company and move forward with our visions and dreams of developing Fruta Vida into an internationally diverse financial and health opportunity for millions of people in countries around the world. We are very sad to let go of those dreams that we have worked hard to implement – a few of which you have already been introduced, but many more that were going to be released very soon and continue over time.
Effective immediately, all operations of managing Fruta Vida International Inc. including (but not limited to) customer service, shipping logistics, accounting including current and past debt, commission processing, distributor services, and executive management will be moved to Mr. Shaw’s control and responsibility currently in Austin, TX. All employees in the Coeur d’ Alene, ID office where all operations were located over the past few years have been released and the office will be closed in the next few days. Any future operations and the location will be determined by Mr. Shaw.
We would like to thank everyone in Fruta Vida for their loyalty to us over the years as we first started as distributors until today. It saddens our hearts to not have been able to come to a conclusion that would allow us to fulfill our hopes and dreams that we have worked on and invested our passion, time, finances, and every ounce of our being to achieve.

Tim Flowers | | I went to the Fruta Vida website and they are apparently still in business. Tony Shaw, a former Arbonne executive, is listed as the founder and CEO of the company. No one else is mentioned. Perhaps another company was negotiating to buy it and the deal fell through?
