Today I need to re-focus and make up for lost time yesterday.
Been thinking about how to better use time away from the office. I have not been effectlvely marketing when I am out and about. popular topic on other Networks and I'm sure it have been discussed here as well. What do you do to build your business outside of the Internet? Not to get to far off of Chris's topic...What do you do when you have a FREE day off?
*Phone calls
*Drop Cards
*still use the 3 foot rule?
*Direct mail drops
*Hand out samples
*Car magnets and signage
I don't know about any body else but my brain tends to leave business at home when I'm away from home. I go focus on soccer or other events and forget to be open to possible new busness around me. You have to take a break from it YES, but...you don't want to pass up an opportunity if somebody want's to know what you do or sell right?
Do you have a practiced responce so it doesn't sound "canned" when somebody says" So..what are you doing these days? I got caught off gaurd yesterday while visiting at the hospital with that exact question.
