Hi there,

Has anyone heard of drop cards? These are one of the best offline marketing tools that you can use.

Moreover it is so easily duplicated by your downlines...

First of all:- What are drop cards?

Drop cards are similar to business cards and the best drop cards you can have are of dollar bills.

Dollar bill business cards are absolutely the best offline marketing tool to advertise and promote your business.

If you are creative, you can think of various ways where you can make use of these drop cards.

1. Drop cards are cards that you can leave behind after sitting in a public area or drop one on the ground where there is human traffic.

2. You can place them in the credit card slots at the petrol pumps which leaves the next customer no choice but to remove it before he can slot in his credit card.

3. Tip the waiter or waitress at the restaurant for the good service rendered. You will add a smile on his/her face and you can leave the drop card as well, explaining that you have a wonderful business opportunity and if he/she would be interested to find out how to make more of such bills. Do note that this tactic will not work if the tip is measly. You have to be generous.

4. Do some reverse shoplifting in bookstores. Instead of removing anything, all you need to do is insert these $100 drop cards into motivational books such as The Secret, Rich Dad Poor Dad, etc… This strategy has worked tremendously well when placed in The Secret, a book based on the movie of the same name which reveals some of the most powerful laws in the Universe, in the chapter on Prosperity. Remember that you are looking for like minded people in your team and these are the people you are targeting by placing the drop cards in such books.

5. Drop cards can also be dropped into the newspapers at the newspaper stands. Do this routine in the early morning or just after the evening papers have been loaded. Slot in your quarter and then start placing your drop cards into all the newspapers that you find there. You can get great mileage for just a quarter.

To your massive success!

I'm not sure slotting your drop cards into newspapers is really ethical. After all, advertisers in the paper have paid big $$$ to place their ad, so I don't think those who run the newspaper or the paid advertisers themselves would look too highly on anyone using this tactic. I'm not even sure it is legal. Granted, the other places you mentioned may work well, but I would steer clear of #5. Just my opinion.

A quick anecdote on Drop Cards.
I successfully marketed a Postcard Direct mail program.
Most of you know the past few years we have had our share of Family Illness.

Spent a lot of time at Hospitals.
Filled every Magazine and Telephone
station and Men's Bathroom Sinks with drop Cards.

They pointed people to a simple landing page or an 800 number with 4 options.
Results over 60 Sign-up paying customers
over a 6 month period. Some called their
orders several weeks after picking up the card.

When I personally contacted them they said they put on refrigerator for Later.

People who may not be ready Now always
have circumstances change.

That is What makes DIRECT Mail and
Effective E-mail campaigns work

I love the Drop Card advertisment, it creates a warm market for you.

I have total run out of warm market prospects, so I need a way to create warm prospects/customers.

Earline,

Create your own Card..
A picture of you is a must.

Chose what product you are most passionate about,
or which of your own personal creations are
your Hot Button and then be sure to "drop" card
where those Targeted individuals are "hanging out"

I have a product that is High End Skin Care,
less expensive than Macy's etc but all natural
and very effective.

The Drop Cards end up on the Magazines found
in Good salons, and spas. It is easy to
Outsource the distribution, costs very little..
and usually the Outsourcing agent will end up
being a distributor so I make, instead of spend

Great sharing, Chuck & Shirley,

Thanks for the add-ons.

Like Earline, this is the first I've heard of adding a pic on the drop cards as well.

Why would you think it is 'shady' to get your card out there? I think it is a great idea.

If the person who picks it up is not interested they can discard it. However, who knows? You might find the next SUPER-MARKETER!
