just was wondering why not have a Pune Centric Global Event,
like many city centric events that happens acrooss the globe, which are not only fun but helps generates some very good revenues,
the bull race in spain, etc etc,
we have Pune Festival, the Bullock cart race even in our city, but not very globalised as yet
we need something truly exciting,
suggest some ideas please

The Idea is to have something that is fun & is globally relevant
as of now, i have the idea of having Mass Wedding with the theme being Green
everything from clothes to food to the whole atmosphere should be environmentally friendly,
Green is in
also tying up with major players across the world for such a event,
www.ethicalweddings.com is one such place that promotes this kind of weddings,
closer home Wipro is going green big time & so are other major players
but yes let us be open to some more ideas

If you want to take green as a theme, perhaps NDTV could be roped in as a media partner. Theyre are into the 'Green' thing as well.
How about an annual GLOBAL GREEN EXHIBITION?
This can be an exhibit of anything and everything... perhaps something as big as the India International Trade Fair in New Delhi...... but everything thats on exhibit will be GREEN / eco-friendly.
It could be anything from selling apartments in a green building, to handicrafts made out of recycled and eco-friendly material. So you could have Brands, Services, Products or even NGOs participating in this.
What say?

the idea is to have both Fun & an Event that can be sold to the Global audience,
having an Exhibition ... kuch baat jam nahin rahi
it becomes lot more Money Focussed, for me atleast
anyways let keep ourselves open to more ideas
