My favorite is the ChaLEAN Extreme workout program since it has all the exercise components: strength training (weights or resistance bands), cardio and flexibility.
Big bulky machines, like the treadmill, focus only on cardio, so it's important to find another way to include strength training and flexibility as well. Other bulky machines, like the BowFlex, focus on strength training, so cardio and flexibility exercises need to be incorporated elswhere. What I like about the ChaLEAN Extreme program is that it's not a bulky piece of equipment and so it can be stored pretty much anywhere. All I need to workout is a TV, a DVD player, and some weights or resistance bands, plus some workout clothes, of course.
So, I will use ChaLEAN Extreme during the cold months. What exercise program will YOU use? Remember to incorporate all the componenents of exercise. They are ALL important to do in our weekly exercise routine to be fit and healthy, and flexible.
