This will be a weekly Thread to encourage Members to Voice their Opinions or informtion on the Topic.

How do you determine what Social Or Business Networking Sites you will be involved with or a member of?

I mainly concentrate my Networking efforts to Ryze Network, Bettermember Community and The Eagles Nest Community.

TThese are the 3 that I have really found to be user friendly, Great Ownership.

There are so many Networking sites both social and Business that one person does not really have the time to really have an effective MMembership at all the Networking Sites available today.

Let's have your feedback or Info on this Great Topic.

A fairly interesting subject to start of The Ronald Hunter Memorial Discussion Question of the Week. Ever since MySpace took off as a social networking base a few years back, I became more interested in them as well. Research Layout and Designing of them. Yes, at one time I did have a myspace and still have an account there but not as quite maintained as it once was. Myspace for me left a lot to be desired. Facebook was the next one. While the changes to the main home was much an improvement it still lacked other aspects for me which myspace and and it still seemed as if something was missing at the same time. So I guess it just goes along with the person and how they feel and what benefits them best with the social networking platforms that they choose.

Here are a list of Social Networking Platforms that I am involved in.

BetterMember - I know all the members there and keep it a clean cut environment. I also run many games there to help keep the fun.
(Every Day)

EaglesNest/community - I webmaster and enjoy working for Richard here to help keep a safe, clean, and informative network.
(I visit once per week and secure the server)

RYZE - Used for business more often than not. Ryze has benefited me for quite sometime as in business partnerships as well as great services, not from Ryze itself but the members there.
(2 or three times per week)

Twitter - Actually I took Eileen's advice and now use it to get topics and subjects noticed. Even though Doubtful I still tried Eileen and it did work. hmmm. LoL
(Only used when I have a topic that I want clicks to.)

Facebook - A few select online friends, but mostly family. I use it as a discussion only.
(Once every 4 days)

DaddyPlace - A place where us dads hang out and brag our children up to each other.
(I use when I get bored)

MySpace - Use it to contact my clients mostly in bands that only use Myspace. That's all this account is for anymore. Little to no participation.
(Maybe once per month if that)

This weeks Question:

Do you attend the Annual Conventions or Training & Motivation Conferences your Company Holds?

In my early days of Network marketing I attended the 4 Big Functions for the year that the Upline Held. I believe they are very important to attend. They give you the training you need and the enthusiasm and motivaion you need to build your Business. One tip to make sure you have the funds to attend are save a little bit each month or week so that when it comes time for the event you have the money to attend without creating a Hardship.

Let's hear your tips or feelings on this great topic.

Mostly what I do for the most part is just me alone. Some of my clients I can only reach by phone or e-mail. But my local ones, I have no problem going to them. Sitting down with the old pencil and sheet of paper and getting thoughts and ideas down on what they would like to have.

That is another reason for the most part that I prefer e-mail, or messages on my network, so that I may read them over to be sure it came through clear and I know what they want exactly. I find it's easier for me to follow someone else's notes rather than my own. For example on a phone conversation, through the course of the conversation they may describe what they want and I write it down in my notes to lay out. But the vision in their mind isn't always the same as the vision in mine at the time it's being exchanged as audio information.

I feel that is relevant to the conversation Eagle. Instead of meeting an up line in Multi-Level Marketings, or such industries. I am meeting with clients, which usually range from small store managers to drummers in a band. The Lingo's there are usually very different, that's why it is important to have the face to face. So that you can learn more about the type of person that your laying out a work platform for, to make sure the work is relevant to the person.

So yeah, I would agree that any company or staff meetings for that matter would be essential, if you take at all what your doing serious. As well as if your serious about how you accept your work.

Great subject once again Eagle.

When you become involved with a network or a networking Site Do you become an Active member or are you are Lurker?

I was told a long time ago that when you are going to do something do it right.I have always followed this principle. I believe if you are going to take the time to join a network or a Networking site that you become an Active Member. Do some posts during the week, reply to some posts that interest you. You will benefit much more from the network or networking Site by becoming Acive then you will from being a Lurker.

Most of the time I am neither an Active member or a Lurker. Some networks I will look at, either I don't know much about the subjects or I just can't figure out what to say.

I'm not really much of a topic starter. When put on the spot, LOL, I draw a blank.

So I do participate as much as possible. Where ever I am involved in.

I'm definitely an Active member. I try to answer posts as well as starting relevant posts as often as I can. I truly don't understand the point of joining a group if you aren't going to participate even if you only answer other posts. When I can't be an Active member, I leave. No point staying if you don't want to participate. Guess I'm just too social for that. LOL! Take care and God bless.

As a Business Owner How often do you review your Business Plan or Vision?

While most businesses do not have a Comprehensive Business Plan they do have a Plan or Vision or simplified Business Plan. It is necessary at least Yearly to review your Business Plan to see if it still matches your Vision or Goals that you have for your life.

Your Business Plan shuld match your Goals or Visions you have for your Life. If they don't you should align the Business Plan with your Goals and or Vsion for your Life so everything flows in a smooth matter and you can travel along your Highway of Life meeting your Goals and Vision you have for your Life.

I review my Plan once a year just to see if I have the same Vision as I had the year before. Your Vision or Priorities might have changed so you should adjust your Business Plan and Goals.

It would be interesting to hear your Thoughts on this great topic.

I'm grateful for each new day, for health and strength, for blessings, small and great and for the promise of Heaven to come.

I'm grateful for the ability to sing praise to God without fear of imprisonment.

I'm grateful to have another bright sunny day to see the wonder of all that God has created with the eyes God created for me.

I'm grateful to see His hand at work in my life and know that He hears my prayers, knows the desires of my heart and works everything out for my good. Take care and God bless.

During the Holidays when our Spirit of Giving is increased. How do you Determine what Charities you Give to?

With the recent News Article on the News on what the CEO'S of the Non-Profits earn I am looking at my Charities more closely. I also read the year end statements of all the Charities I give to. It is always better to Give then receive.

I always look for what the Directors or CEO'S Make a year in Salary. I believe a Charity should be given most of the Money that is donated should go to the Cause of the Charity.

Would like to hear your Views on this Great Subject.

Right now, I'm only supporting one charity, Feed the Children. I've seen their track record over the years and haven't heard of a single scandal, misappropriation plus they have had the same leader for the last 20 years.

I have, in the past supported, Habitat for Humanity, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, The Red Cross and have slowly but surely moved away from each for similar reasons.

When giving, always ask yourself, why, to whom and for what. Take care and God bless.
