They include a combination of physical and human resources and are created by people to perform specific functions which should be of service to people generally. There are many different kinds of services and thus there are many different kinds of organizations.
It is essential that organizations remain subserviant to the interests of the community. We can work in an organization, but we should never claim to be employed by an organization. We can only ever be employees of people.
I make this point because many people have been conditioned to accept that an organization like the government for example is a power which is over and above the people of the country in which it operates. The government is a system which must always be answerable to the people and function in the best interests of the people. This applies to all organizations.
