No matter what religion you are or whether it is personal or public, how does your religion fit into your daily lifestyle? How much of what you do on a day to day basis could you easily connect with your religion? This is a very challenging question indeed.

How did you acknowledge God today? Yesterday? I mean, apart from a series of intellectually accepted religious views, are you seriously a person who lives in a loving relationship with God?

There are two aspects of religion that need to be reconciled. Firstly, our beliefs, and secondly, the practical application of those beliefs in our lives. I think you would agree that both are essential, however if our practice is not congruent with our beliefs and the priority we give those beliefs in our lives, it would be very questionable as to whether or not we really have any religion at all.

This is a question that we can all ask ourselves:

If I really believed in the Law and the Love of God, would I be living the way I am? The fact is that we need God's help to live a religious life. We cannot do it in our own strength. We must however have the intention to live our life in a manner pleasing to God, and the resolution to ask for God's mercy, wisdom and assistance to make it happen on a continuous basis.

Putting the question another way, if you were arrested and charged for being a Christian, or whatever, what evidence could be found to convict you?

We are living in dangerous times as this little video will show you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMe5dOgbu40&feature=player_embedded Now is the time for all of us to prepare ourselves so that we know which side of the fence we are on.

Sincere blessings to all,

Denis.

Denis,
Great question.

We are much like being in a very crowded and noisy room.

We are calling out to our child. Even though the child may not hear the entire verbalization that we have made. . . . The child recognizes our tone, our sound, our mannerisms, Such as a sneeze, cough, laugh, etc.

My point. . . our children are in tune to us. They recognize a certain nonverbal look, they can tell what pleases us as parents, they can tell our parameters, our limits.

We as children of god. . . . ?

Must ask ourselves, How in tune to our Father are we?
Can we filter out all the static noise of the world to hear his calling?

Blessings,
M.

iteresting inquiry Denis. The devout Muslims pray 5 times a day;

In India many Hindu bus and truck(lorry) drivers have a portrait of a Hindu god hanging at the dash board. A constant reminder of god; god within and protecting the believer.

Peace & Blessings,

Ernie Martin

Dear Denis,

Belef imparts faith and creates fear of Sin. Practice makes one to devoid the Slippage of one's mind against the moral code.

Different time zones creates different Aura's and has an influence on the mind of Individuals. So praying twice to five times is a perfect tailor made process to avoid the Mind Slip into the mundane things.

Warm Regards,
Anand

“And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. These words [the Ten Commandments], which I command you this day, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be for symbols between your eyes. You shall write them on the door-posts of your house, and on your gates” (Deuteronomy 6:5-9).
