Upon my word, this is not an ad. I do not belong to this new biz, nor do I intend to spend the $197 to join -- only then to pass up my first sale of $197 no less! No thanks.

However, this is cool software they are selling and I would like comments about their product. Does anything else like this exist?

It is a scraper application that goes out and harvests leads for you from advertisers on Google, Yahoo, Craig's List, and others, depending upon whatever key word(s) you enter. In the six minute video example that I am linking below, the operator enters the word "Xango" and the software starts returning leads immediately, as you will see. If available, it gives you their phone, their email, and the URL that shows you their ad.

Why would this be useful? Well, as one example, suppose you know of a company that just failed. Wouldn't you like to speak with their reps who are now out of a job? Or suppose someone promotes something that your service would complement beautifully! This gives you hundreds or thousands of leads that you could not have harvested yourself if you had weeks to do it. The software gets it overnight for you while you sleep. Cool!

Here's the link that demos the software:

Perhaps you know of something that works better?

Thanks for the input!
Walt

Get out the frying pan... Smells like another spam tool.

Do you have any idea how many emails, calls and offers a person gets when their business goes under? And it goes on for months, year or so. I think they are more effective a few months out than right away. Just a quick call to see if they have found another company, if they are looking?

How many just cancel their email account after notifying their friends of their new address, or filter out all the spam?

Most likely the people you are wanting on your team have done a good job networking and know people already in other companies and a good idea which ones they like and don't like.

So you can spend the money of the software, or you can do it the old fashioned way, make friends, help each other out, be respectful, stay in touch.

Not saying that contacting those whose company has failed is a total waste of time, esp if you have a company that they may not of heard of yet. If they have a dozen friends in xyz, your chances of sponsoring them into xyz are slim. Yet good money has been made by those who've sponsored someone they didn't know, who was a leader in the failed company. I'm curious what the statistics are.
