Does your MLM company have competitively priced retailable products?

One of the main criteria for me in choosing a MLM company is a company that has a product line that can actually be retailed and for a decent profit. A company where one could earn a full time income on retailing alone if they choose to do so is a GREAT feature of any pay plan!

Believe it or not there ARE "networkers" out there that prefer to SELL and make FAST upfront money over constantly having to recruit and lead a team. Not everyone is a "sponser monster".

There are many benefits to retailing. Here are just a few.

1. Retailing puts you into an immediate cash flow.
This is great for the new person who can recoup their product costs and other business expenses right away! The fact is most new people who join a mlm program do NOT sponser any more than three people when they first join. By retailing they can break even right away AND get into profit! If they can make money right away they are less likely to quit!

2.Retailing can earn you a FULL TIME income while building your "wealth" through sponsering and team building.

3. Retailing is legal and ethical and actually required. It keeps the companies off the radar screen from the authorities. They REALLY frown on "recruiting only" opportunities! :)

4. Retailing is a SIMPLE business transaction. It is done every day on a massive scale. Billions and billions of products are sold every day worldwide via RETAIL. Retailing is EASY to show to new business partners! Its simple math. No complicated pay plan explanation required. Dont be afraid of retailing!

5. Retailing moves MAJOR volume fast in your organization and what is it that we are paid on anyway? Its VOLUME. The more product that gets moved the BIGGER your check! The volume created from retailing also helps you move up higher in rank faster in your pay plan. Again not everyone is a sponser monster,actually most are not but "anyone" can retail if they have a high quality retailable product at a competitive price.


In a nutshell dont always look for the sponser monsters. Find yourself a few good retailers to add to your team too. You will be glad you did!

I wrote this article over a year ago after watching in dismay so many networkers talk about RECRUIT RECRUIT RECRUIT and NEVER mentioning the products/services...I mean not at all.
All it was for them was a recruiting game.
If you have a good product/service you can earn a full time income on sales and repeat customers alone.
I just dug it up again from my old Blog.

The capability for retailing is very important
as you already pointed out,
specially in your local market.

In my company, case pricing is available for every product.
1,Great Profit
2,Cash Flow>
3,>Pays for your OAP
4,Volume in distribution
5,We offer case pricing for health food stores, beauty
salons,Gym's etc as OAP's and it's very successful.

And as we all know a satisfied Customer
makes the best Distributer

Very nice post and very true. I also think it is important to have a viable retailable product to add credibility to the plan. The more value the product adds to someone's life, the more attractive it will be for both retailing and building networks. Thanks, Deb for the great post.

I just started a new BLOG and I put this old article on it first.
I havent logged into my old BLOG in so long that I even forget my username.
So,Im starting all over from scratch.
While it will not be a main priority for me,I AM going to work on it consistently every week and make it as attractive as I can with pictures and live video along with good content.

And I thought I had been behind on blogging. Originally started mine back in February and just recently got active with it again. I'm starting to get the hang of it a little better. I'm using wordpress, for now. It's free but does have some limitations but, considering my inexperience at this point, it works for me.

Every MLM company should have Highly Consumable, Retail Products. That is where you will normally make money.

Unless one is willing to dedicate 100% of their Time Developing an ACTIVE Downline of Marketers.

The MLM side is difficult for most, because they haven't developed a Strong Entrepreneurial Mindset and willingness to invest Time and Energy for the Long term reward.

But Everyone will BUY product if presented properly

Peddling is so much more Fun and Financially rewarding for me

Thanks Deb...great info! I have a team of retailer, just can't get them to sponsor, so now I feel a little better, I know the sponsorships will come!


Thanks Jeff, being bold to ask for the business, deal with objections and ask for the business is very key and a lot of networkers have a hard time pushing past the first ask because they know dealing with the objection comes next.

I know of many network marketers who tend to be undercover network marketers. It is as if they dare not tell people the name of their company or the products/services they have to offer. Yet, they expect to build a business out of it!
