Yawn...stretch...
There is nothing like waking up to your favorite cup of coffee in the morning and not having to battle the rush hour traffic on the way to work.
More and more people are CHOOSING a home based business and the reasons for that are many.
1.More time with family.
A home based business is perfect for Moms who dont want to leave their children in a day care center. They want to be home with their children and not miss those special "first" moments like their first word or realizing something new and exciting and seeing that excitement on their faces.
2.Tax benefits.
A home based business gives you many deductions,rent,phones etc...that you can use at the end of the year.
3.No long commute to work.
No dealing with rush hour traffic jams,poor weather and gas expense.
4.Personal satisfaction.
The personal satisfaction that comes from owning your own home based business is truly rewarding.
5.Control of your schedule.
YOU decide when you take a vacation.No asking or begging a boss to give you time off.
6.Wonderful for the physical handicapped.
A home based buiness can be a real blessing for handicapped people and people with other serious health issues that may not allow them to have a regular job outside of the home.
7.Contributing to the household income.
For many a home based business is done on a part time level to help bring much needed extra income to the househiold. An extra thousand dollars a month for many families is life saving.
8,Not having to work with people you dont like and miserable people in the work place. YOU decide who you want to work with.
There are many reasons to choose a home based business and those reasons vary from person to person.
You can earn an extra thousand dollars a month or so to help contribute to the household income or you can build a business of a lifetime through sheer determination and hard work and live a life that most only dream about.

Clark Bailey | | All great points about the benefits of a home-based business. Another one I would add is the ability to provide a high level of customer satisfaction. I found in the corporate world that many times customer satisfaction was as good as the profitability of the actions; however, there are times that doing the right thing for a customer does not immediately produce profits but it always builds loyalty and long-term trust.

I don't think I would know how to return to a job.
Customer Satisfaction...a more personal relationship with customers.
You get to work what you love to do - health and wellness, travel, green products, etc
