Michael Lemm | | It appears to me that small businesses aren't taking online marketing and having their own websites serious enough. What a shame .... plain stupid if you allow me to be blunt. [Sorry if I hurt anyones feelings]
I wonder if it is because of a lack of awareness .... or the technology tag ( admittedly sometimes scary for traditional businesses).

Good Article. This is one subject I preach on to everyone I know. Having a website is your
online "real estate" that shows you are a solid business, not some fly by night, here today,
gone tomorrow, fast buck type of operation.
A full blown web site shows you are "vested" with your business and will be there tomorrow
to back up your sales.
I also went to the SBI web site you recommend in your article and although they look quite
good, I'd have to say a few things are left off their chart of services. When we build a web
site at BEK, the research before any design is even considered, is as important as the site
itself.
It can be the decisions you make BEFORE you have a design in place that will make the
difference, long term, if your web site is to survive and show well in the SERP's.
