The
Last Crusade
Somalia (MNN) ― Somalia’s Muslim militants are hunting
down converts
to Christianity. According to Voice of the Martyrs Canada, Al-Shabaab
members have murdered 14 believers since July 15.
Compass Direct News reports the September 15 shooting
death of
69-year-old Omar Khalafe, an underground Christian who had Bibles in
his possession.
On the day of his death, Khalafe was carrying 25 Somali
Bibles he
hoped to deliver to an underground fellowship in Somalia. At a
checkpoint controlled by al Shabaab–a rebel group linked with al Qaeda
which has taken over large parts of the war-torn country–bus passengers
were ordered to disembark for inspection.
Voice of the Martyrs Canada and Compass Direct reports
agree on the events following the discovery of the Bibles.
The assailants used photos they found to determine if
they could
match the faces to any passengers. When they noticed a resemblance to
Khalafe, they asked if the Bibles were his. The radicals shot and
killed him when he did not respond.
Militants then displayed his body in Merca along with
the Bibles as
a warning to others. Later that day, a militant reported Khalafe’s
death on a radio program.
Khalafe, who had been a Christian for 45 years, was
active in sharing the Good News and baptizing converts from Islam.
Khalafe’s family is in mourning, but due to the risk of
exposure,
his wife and seven children were unable to participate in his burial
because of the risk of being killed by militants, reports Compass
Direct.

Maybe moderate Muslim leaders should make an out cry more instead of remaining silent, rather than the West always having to expose these things first and then getting the blame for their whole situation. It seems the only barbaric weapon they have is murder, maiming, and piracy. Certainly, without any question this the spirit of the Devil.

Only this week in Sydney Australia police arrested a moslem plot to attack an army base. There is absolutely zero tolerance for terrorism and religious violence in Australia, but I feel that more needs to be done, and done as a matter of urgency. No religious group should be able to claim religious liberty when its members are actively engaged in the killing, maiming and terrorizing of Christians as the above information describes. This is a very serious matter.

In this regard we need to safeguard our families and especially our children. Their peace must be protected. let us not overlook the scriptural resources we have to deal with terrorists:
Luk 10:19 "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over ALL the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."
Snakes and scorpions are very real, and so are terrorists. We only have two cheeks, if you get my gist.

Some of its leading apologists have come to rely on tricks involving semantics and half-truths that are, in turn, repeated by novices and even those outside the faith.
This is a document (which we hope to improve on and expand over time) that exposes some of these games and helps truth-seekers find their way through the maze of disingenuous (often blatantly false) claims about Islam and its history.

For their spin on things.

Sooner or later the European Countries that have opened their arms to take in so many Muslims will explode. "Kill the infidels wherever you find them" I didn't say this, it is in the Koran. Blessings to all Ed Private Reply to Ed and Yvonne Servis | | Nov 06, 2009 9:54 am | | re: Muslims now hunting Christians in Africa | # | Peter Boaz Jones | | Ed, my dear friend there are more reasonable people like us than all of the extremists.

Christians ultimately must view Muslims as those who also adore the One, merciful God and also see Jews as a people to whom God's promise of a Covenant is still in place. Many Jews are also coming to see the other two religions as ways in which non-Jews come into relationship with the God of Israel. Jews, Muslims and Christians share more than many members of both faiths often realise.
All these three traditions have produced great philosophers and all three have, at different times, drawn on Greek philosophy - particularly Aristotle and Plato. St Thomas Aquinas, one of the greatest theologians and philosophers in the Christian tradition, owed an enormous debt to Aristotle, but Aristotle’s works were only available to him because they had been preserved by Islamic and Jewish scholars who had commented on them and used them in their own traditions. Figures such as Avicenna, Averroes, Maimonides, Albert the Great and Aquinas were all concerned with similar issues such as the Nature of God, the relation between God and the world and how god could be talked about in human words. It will be the educators in these traditions who ultimately will teach those grossly miseducated in their traditions to see the folly and their completely mistaken ways through which extremists operate.
It will prove interesting to see whether the terrible and sad massacre of the soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas by a physiatrist Muslim soldier, really had anything to do with his faith or grievances he held over his fellows, similar yet to the other shooting by the disgruntled office employee.

You see it is politically correct to say that about a Christian however you don't dare say that about a Muslim. Instead the press makes all kinds of rediculous excuses. We live in a country where you can't even have a discussion about race or religion without some kind of obscene label being attached to you. Political correctness has and will cause the deaths of many. I hate to offend anyone, but as far as Islam goes it was forced upon people, not chosen. It was spread by slaughter, rape, pillage, torture, slavary, terror, and lies. Islam is still maintained by many of the above mentioned. This is not to say that the vast majority of Muslims condone any of these and indeed they don't. And while this vast majority are rational and good people, they are not practicing the true form of Islam but only the points they agree with. Somehow they are able to interpret the Koran into something they can live with.
Christians have done this also to some degree and we have different denominations. We all try to live by the example of Jesus. Jesus never harmed anyone, did Mohammed? Blessings ED
Private Reply to Ed and Yvonne Servis | | Nov 08, 2009 11:04 am | | re: Muslims now hunting Christians in Africa | # | Peter Boaz Jones | | Points taken, Ed. But in your conclusion, Jesus did say, “Don’t think that I am come to send peace on earth: I didn't come to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a person's foes shall be they of their own household” (Matthew 10:34-36).
Also later: “I am come to send fire on the earth; and how I wish it were already kindled” (Luke 12:49).

Then do not complain when we look beyond the silver haired grandmother in the wheel chair.
Don’t complain when we look beyond the rappers in the corner singing and bobbing to the music.
Don’t complain when we look beyond the little blond haired girl with her mommy and daddy in toe.
Don’t complain when we look directly at the chanting, wide eyed, sweaty, olive skinned black haired bearded gentleman standing in line with a fuse dangling from his shoes and politely ask him some additional questions.
This PC crap is and has gone too far.
Maybe the military will wise up now that the blood is flowing on US soil with them asleep at the switch. This is not the girl scouts. . . . .
Jesus didn’t just stand there and say turn the other cheek forever !! He did not say to ignore the obvious. He did not say to neglect your own family, or others safety? He wanted us to be good stewards of the earth and the people of the earth. And I don’t hear or read anything about being able to do that if you are dead.
Face it !! The Muslim faith is in a predicament similar of the Catholic church.
Remember the time when the Catholic church denied a problem with certain priests that. . . . well. . . weren’t very priestly with the congregations children? They finally . . . through generations admitted first the existence, then the outright problem.
The Muslims? (Insert sound of chirping crickets here)
I guess they need a little more time right?
Meanwhile the SP’s are out there stating that we need to not profile (these people). Well when little old silver haired ladies in wheel chairs start the blood flowing in the streets (even just one drop let alone the buckets that the others have) Then you can come to me and say that we should not be leery, be cautious, be just a bit more concerning, be better stewards.
Frankly you can take your PC and shove it !! It is time (again) to take the jawbone of an ass and clean house !!
And I do not mean the jawboning of our elected officials to try to talk sense to the extremists.
They only know one thing. POWER.
They only respect one thing. POWER
They only desire one thing. POWER
So I say if they don’t want to play nice? And live together? In peace?
I say that we shorten their wait to those 70 virgins that they drool over and get them introduced real quick.
If the rest can not stand up and expose the extremist due to their religious beliefs?
Sorry about their luck.
Infidel Mike
