Hey all

What's your daily breakfast ?

We have people from all over the world on this network. It would be interesting to know the different lifestyles.

Do share with us here, folks.

Cheers !
Parag

PS Mine is a slice or 2 of white bread, usually toasted, with butter and an occasional glass of orange juice.

By the way, I must have my cup of tea - water and milk boiled together with grated ginger, tea leaves...the works, and the newspaper first thing in the morning. Breakfast comes later.

Cheers !

I like hot soup in the morning e.g. pork rib bone noddle soup, prawn noodle soup .... as I don;t get to get hot food for the remaining of the day. Heavy breakfast!

Ok folks,

A good solid breakfast, is absolutely essential for me to have a productive day. If I don't have breakfast at all, my engine doesn't run at optimum capacity.

I start my day off with a glass of water with 2 tbs of (Braggs)Apple Cider Vinegar and 2 tbs of Organic Honey. 4 slices of wholemeal toast with butter, cheese and peanut butter. I may also have a bowl of organic rolled oats or half boiled eggs or scrambled eggs. As a rule I have oats 3 times a week and eggs twice a week for breakfast.

Personally, I try not to skip meals but if I do have a good breakfast and I don't have time for lunch or have it late, I don't suffer any ill effects.

Well that's what works for me folks.

Cheers

How in heavens do you stay so thin Raj?

I have cheese on toast, and a glass of milk weekday mornings, at 6:45am, then lunch at 11:15am. Weird hours, can't be helped!

It's probably his high metabolic rate, Kavita. He has been known to down about a dozen donuts at a sitting after a full dinner, with absolutely no effect ;)

Warm Regards

Well, Here in the States Normal People usually do Breakfast as such. But with me working from 10PM till 8AM. I eat whenever I can. I work the desk at a small independant Motel and I usually munch all night long. I like Roast Beef Sandwiches with Pepper and Salt. I usually eat some soup or a Small tub of Mashed Potatoes. Mashed Potatoes are my Favorite food.

I know it's not a good way to eat but with working the Night Shift then doing my Posts on Ryze on Mondays and fridays I eat whatever I have. Sometimes I treat myself to a Egg,Sausage and Cheese Croissant from Dunkin Donuts when I have some extra Money.

That's it for me.

I forgot to mention that when I go gocery Shopping I usually buy 2 lbs. of the Roast beef and I buy the premium Angus Roast Beef. It melts in your Mouth. I usually eat 3 maybe 4 sandwiches at a time. I usually have a Soad Pepsi or Coke whatever is on sale. Or a Bottle of Water with Cool aid in it shaken up.

Hi
Breakfast for us is usually a bowl of fruit with yoghurt. Sundays fresh grapefruit followed by croissants.

All proceed by a glass of OSOLEAN peptides.

I am changing my breakfast menu to one similar to Raj. Morning is 1) organic honey, mixed with warm water, and black seed oil, with a slice of lemon. 2) Organic vegetable juice mixed with crushed organic seeds and nuts, 3) black coffee (no milk/sugar), 4) Organic baby oats with sea salt and honey or yoghurt and fruits 5) Hard Boiled egg (white only). This I have at least 3 times a week. Once a week, have a nice Halal American breakfast (beef bacon, baked beans and eggs sunny side up). The morning liquids remain the same everyday.

I am in Bangalore. Our weekday breakfast is usually one of these - Dosa (Pancake) with Cocunut Chutney, Uppuma (made of powdered wheat), Idli with Sambar.

On Sundays, I go for Oatmeal or Bread/Peanut Butter. (My wife takes a breakfast holiday on Sundays and I am in-charge!).

I normally skip lunch these days and have either a fruit or sugarcane juice.

To compensate, I have a heavy dinner and I know this wrong diet practice.

Hi Kavita,

As my dear friend Subra has pointed out, my metabolic rate has always been high but I try not to take it for granted and am trying to cut down on the sweet stuff. Which is rather difficult since I've always had a sweet tooth. It's a neverending battle, I must say but one which I'm determined to win. I guess it could also be a combination of genes, nutrition and lifestyle, two of which I have varying degrees of control over.

As far as possible I do try to buy organic food but it is rather expensive in Singapore so I do try to strike a balance and go for nutritious food even if I can't get my hands on organic stuff. I have also been a lacto-ova vegetarian for the past 19 years. The one area I need to really work on is the exercise. What I hope to achieve for the coming year is a balance of good, nutritious food, exercise and rest.

There, my secret's out. All the best folks and thanks for letting me share my useful'nuggets'(pardon the pun).

Love, peace and light

Raj

My breakfast in Holland used to be 2-4 slices of wholemeal bread with butter and cheese or peanutbutter or jam. And tea. Later I changed it to cereal with cold milk and a mug of tea.

When travelling and staying in hotels I tend to have a more extensive breakfast. The full works. Start with a bowl of cereals with either milk or yogurth than followed by a slice of toast with cheese and egs and beans.

After all this really feel full but than I try to skip Lunch (which does not work as my colleagues drag me along for lunch and I eat again..).

Than when I came to Singapore last year I changed soon to making my own fruitshakes. Fresh fruits with milk in a blender and that is it. I still had my mug of tea.

Just 4 months ago I started something new and now I have a nutritious shake and that is it.

So as you can see I have had different ways of having breakfast and trying different things. I am interested to hear if others had similar changes in their breakfasts or if people are more sticking to one way.

cheers,
Imraan.
