You recognize that there is only one God and that Jesus Christ is a prophet of God. If this be the case, anything which is written in your Koran or any behaviour by your members which is in contradiction to the words of Jesus Christ is of the devil.

I invite you to think very carefully on this point as I know that God loves you and earnestly wills that you accept Him in accordance with the teachings and life of Jesus Christ.

God knows your faith and he appeciates your zeal, but at the same time He does not wish that you be misled. Some of your community are causing many problems for Christians, even torturing and killing them. God is most unhappy about this, and so am I.

Your symbol of the crescent of the moon is an insult to God because any juniour science student could tell you that the moon has NO LIGHT of its own. It is just a reflector of the light from the sun. Do you not know that Allah is the name of the moon god who is NOT GOD?

Wake up to the truth! It will set you free from the deceptions of the enemy.

Without the sun, the moon would not reflect any light at all.
Jesus Christ is the SON OF GOD, and you are invited to worship Him, and Only Him. The choice is yours, but please realise, it is an opportunity of eternal life after death of this mortal body.

Denis Gibbon.

My Dear Denis,

This is indeed a very BOLD Letter and I appreciate you for your concern for Christians, Musallmans and for the Universal Brotherhood.

Whether the God is sun or the moon, the basic principles for universal brotherhood is the same in all religions. If there is a difference, then, it is true that the original Commandments has been twisted for the Dishormony.

The deceptions within the heart destroys oneself and the others around it. Issues like Voilence, untouchablity do not exists in any scriptures. However, if it exists it may be to mean the Inner vices.

We fully support your cause for the universal Brotherhood based on the principles of Love.

Warm Regards,
Anand

Sensible and reasonable Muslims realize they are building upon and are devoted to perfecting the examples and teachings of Abraham, Moses, and Jesus, of the three major monistic faiths of the One God of Unity, and cannot be likened to those who torture and murder.

The crescent of the moon is not an insult to God since it represents an image and reflection of the sun and the first phase of a New Moon or a new month and a Calendar, and reflects those “who fear My Name [the LORD] shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing” (Malachi 4:2), and Allah is just another Name for the One God, and is seen in the Aramaic portions in the Biblical books of Ezra, and Daniel

Those who have seen the LORD God have seen the Sun of Righteousness even before He came in the flesh.

Anand crystallised the same above!

Thank you Peter and Anand for your interest and help with this rather painful issue, and Peter thank you for putting me right on the meaning of the crescent. My chief concern is the tragic suffering which Christians are experiencing in various parts of the world. Religious violence is totally abhorrent to me, and I believe to all God-fearing people. There is far to much of it going on. Our war is with the evil one, not with our brothers and sisters, no matter what religious beliefs they may hold. This is my main concern.

Jesus taught us to love one another, and I do indeed love my Islamic brothers and sisters. What I do not love is acts of discrimination and violence against Christians, or for that matter against any people anywhere. We have enough problems in the world without manufacturing new ones.

This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
[Matthew 22:38-39 (New International Version)

Love the sinner. . . .
Hate the sin.

Blessings,
M.

We have to manufacture enough new manageable answers in the world to cope with the problems.

As Warrior Monk alluded, the answer my friend is blowing in the wind!

Well said Mike;

"Love the sinner. . . .
Hate the sin"

So one has to find ways to technically eradicate "The Sin" to love the Sinner.

"Love for humanity" seems to have been taken over by the "Posessiveness for religion" and I feel that seems to be a great problem.

Somehow, some clerics pose problems and incite hatred. Recently, A top Muslim body in India asked members of the community not to recite Vande Mataram (Prayer to the Mother India) and supported seminary Darul Uloom's edict that opposes any prayer involving the song. These type of issues create unnecessary debate and hatred between people loving the Nation and People loving the Religion.

“He [Jesus] set another parable before them, saying, “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field, but while people slept, his enemy came and sowed darnel also among the wheat, and went away.

But when the blade sprang up and brought forth fruit, then the darnel appeared also. The servants of the householder came and said to him, 'Sir, didn't you sow good seed in your field? Where did this darnel come from?' "He said to them, 'An enemy has done this.' "The servants asked him, 'Do you want us to go and gather them up?' "But he said, 'No, lest perhaps while you gather up the darnel, you root up the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and in the harvest time I will tell the reapers, "First, gather up the darnel, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn."'" (Matthew 13:24-30).
