Yes, I agree with Angie, nice video. I wonder if those pictures were actually shot specifically for that video? Those pictures look as though they were taken long before video was invented.

I can't speak for the ones that made the video. However their is a number of new picture books and art that deal specifically with that type of photography/pictures, similar to the ones in the video. They seem to give you a mixture of the past and present that blends with the future. Making this video work in it's original context/format. I feel that's what makes the video special as it gives a reflection of everyday life.

Pictures are of course f o r e v e r. We all are NOT forever.
One of the better slideshows I've seen. The words and photos made me think about my t r a i n.

All the photos look posed vs completely set up.
A great photographer vs an amateur looks for light vs an amateur points and shoots.

Paul, thanks for the information/clarification.
You being an expert in photography pointing out the difference between the slide-show vs the video style helps to clarify the presentation shown. Both versions are identical other than the format.
Appreciate the 2 cool s/w links. I plan on trying one out during the Holidays.
