John Snyder | | What is going on in America?
CNN is Right now broadcasting that 8 People were shot in Orlando, Fl today! Yesterday Ft Hood and Today Orlando, it is almost like we are at War right here in the U.S.A.

It's a shame. People are going Crazy. There was Fort Hood and then there was Orlando and I even heard one soldier killed another Soldier at Camp Lejeune.
I don't know what's going on with everyone but it is terrible.

This does not sound right to me, but I believe I read that it was a military psychiatrist that shot all those people at Ft. Hood. Is that correct? A doctor did the shooting?

John Snyder | | That is correct Lamar and he is a Major. Stressor was he was being shipped into the War Theater to fight against his Muslim Brothers. In the Orlando, Fl. attack, it has been modified to 1 Dead, 7 wounded.

James P Reardon Sr. | | Most of the time it's more of a conflict of interest. History seems to prove that the public only knows what the government releases to the media and wants them to know.
We are not there, we don't know the full story. People only outrage in craziness as a last resort or they strongly oppose of to what is actually going on. Not what everyone else is told.
It is a shame and it's my prayers that it blows over. And may always god bless America.

Donald Smith | | I think that we as a nation are in Moral Crisis. We have lost the bearings that for the previous 200 years kept civility among us. We have taken God and pushed him waaay to the curb and are expecting that our own moral compasss is going to guide us.
Some may scoff at that notion and just think that people are just going crazy. But I think there is more beneath the surface than isolated cases of dis-regard for human life. I am beginning to wonder if we intuitively know that human life is precious. I think that as a nation we have become too "me" centered. How many people REALLY know the person that lives next door to them whether it is a house, apartment, condo,trailer or villa? And then add to that the fact that it seems as if Religion has been placed in the category of "if you wanna you do, if you don't wanna,you don't" subscribe to a Holy and Higher being. I don't mean to be all "preachy" and "stuff" but look at TV. Who would have thought when TV first came out that some of the things that are openly discussed would be allowed to do so. Do you think that as a Man I need to know when certain phases of a Woman's life are about to come into play? Or should I have to look at the ratings of a program before I am able to allow my kids to sit down and watch the program with me? What happened to kids going about their business rather than adding to the conversation of the adults around them?

John Snyder | | Very Profound Donald, and Right on Target. I remember how it was when I was growing up in the 40's and 50's. We were blissfully naive to the World around us. Sure, there were Bad situations, just like today, we just delbt with things differently. Most of us survived in Pretty good shape. Our value System was vastly different than it is today and we interacted more. We built Friendships, and Played outdoors all day, Explored our World, even what people woukd cinsider dangerous places today. If we did get hurt, we sucked it up and didn't sue. Even broken bones were a matter of evryday living and learning. Were we happy as Kids, You bet we were! Kids togay have forgoyyen how to play and interact. When is the last time you saw a bunch of Kids getting together for a Pick-up game of Baseball in a Field or Playground? This is where it starts,

The liberals are going to blame the military for creating the environment they say created a medical doctor (a psychiatrist) to go berserk. The conservatives are simply going to blame the psychiatrist, period. Where's the truth? Do you find it by threatening to divide the baby in half as King Solomon once did?
It sounds very strange to say what this country, the USA, needs is more caring people. But, I think that is what it needs. If a psychiatrist that treats soldiers can fall through the cracks and go berserk, who among us is immune?
