Hope you are doing well..
Last week, we concluded three days of Web cast for TED India right here in the CIIE Seminar hall.
It was a very inspiring conference. Today's Times of India has a write up on the same.
On a different note, I would like to invite you to a similar event, called TEDx Ahmedabad [http://tedxahmedabad.com]
This is the first one to happen in the city.
The theme of the conference is Designing Management and is scheduled to happen on the 28th of this month. We are trying to make it as close to TED [http://ted.com] as possible in terms of structure and the experience, hoping to make it the best TEDx Event in India..
The credit for making the conference a success goes to the audience and the speakers..
I can vouch for the speakers, but we still do not have enough participation coming in from the smartest people of the country as yet :) thus making my belief of the conference being a rock star show weak..

We promise to not make it design oriented, which some managers/entrepreneurs feel goes over the top of their heads :) No Offense, but I am part of the same group of people... or rather was :)
This conference is very 'Manager' friendly and will help the Managers in our country in moving towards Design Thinking and thus making Management more efficient than Analytical Thinking Processes.
