i hope this post helps you as required - - - -

"good food joints in dadar?"

would be a more effective question if

1. it is worded "which are the good food joints in dadar?"

2. it is qualified in the post by stating the purpose? like breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, quickbite?

3. it is qualified in the post by stating the company? like friends? family? ladies only?

4. it is qualified in the post by stating the event? like birthday? anniversary? passing thru? staying over?

5. it is qualified in the post by stating the proposed budget?

6. it is qualified in the post by stating constraints? like jain? veggie? eggie? chickie? lamby? beefy? beery? drinky?

7. . . . . . .

get it?

yes Dadar can offer all the above options and more - - - welcome to Mumbai.

Chandrashekhar
Dadar West there is a place called Gomantak, near Plaza.

Excellent food!

But you'll have to stand in line for a long time before you get to eat :)

Some value addition (my opinion):

1. Chandragupta Maurya: too expensive; does not spell value for money, as far as I am concerned

2. Visawa: a decent traditional South Indian joint

3. Gypsy Chinese: besides food, mixes some decent cocktails. Love the Mojito there.

4. Others: Then there is Oven Fresh, on Ranade Road, going from Dadar towards Shivaji Park, Saurashtra Farsan Mart (snacks 'to go') at the Hanuman Temple circle (great Kachoris), Panshikar (for very traditional Maharashtrian sweets and snacks), Chhaya (I hope I have got the name right) - a thali joint, in the DeSilva Road (where at the corner, Visawa is located), very popular with the people working in the retail trade at Dadar West, Yezdiar - a Parsi joint in Dadar Parsi Colony, close to Dadar TT Circle ("Dhanshak"), Pritam da Dhaba (Dadar East - old and very popular Punjabi food joint).
