Members,

Thought I'd post an update on my Campbell projects...for those of you who are not familiar with my corporate business and my current client, there are two more messages below that I had posted on another business network. They will give you the background, with the original post at the bottom that contains links for you to take a "prosperity tour".

CURRENTLY...

Eastnor Castle grand prize fulfillment week was wonderful. The week included a day trip to London for the winners (Eastnor Castle is two hours away). We were blessed that our promotion was before the recent horrific London tragedy.

Island fulfillment is next week. A young girl is the winner and she is bringing her friend, her parents and her grandparents. They will all be flown to Managua (Nicaragua) then be taken by helicopter to the Island where they will have an incredible fantasy week.

Back to La La Land...

I found several mansions for the next "Hollywood Mansion" promotion for the US and the first promotion for Canada. Final choices will be made this week. The home the US marketing team loved is in Brentwood - on the Westside of Los Angeles. However, this promotion calls for a "Hollywood" mansion and the client's legal department is up in arms because the home is not in Hollywood. I respect the fact that they are a highly reputable (make that squeaky clean) company that will do nothing to misrepresent and I believe there are laws in the US that prevent them from misrepresenting to children in any way. Very good.

However, I had to explain to my client that there is in reality no such thing as "Hollywood". There is no postal zip code or mailing address that is legally Hollywood. So legally "Hollywood" doesn't even exist. Hollywood and Hollywood Hills are communities, but the postal addresses are still all Los Angeles.

For those of us here in Los Angeles, Brentwood is not Hollywood. It's about 20 miles away. There are no gorgeous mansions in what is known as Hollywood - it's a highly commercial area. In the Hollywood Hills, there are distinctive homes but they are usually very small compared to other areas (our mansions for these promotions require at least 5 bedrooms and a full size pool). We did submit a few homes that are on the borders of what we would consider Hollywood or the Hills, but their favorite is the Brentwood home.

So at this time, the client's legal department is determining whether they can truthfully and morally offer the Brentwood mansion for the Hollywood theme or whether they will need to select one of the others.

The Canadian marketing company wanted to use the same home that the US used last year, but it's not available, so we found a similar gorgeous mansion in Encino. But they are waiting to see which home the US takes, and they may decide to double book that one. If not, they will take the Encino home. The first Canadian promotion theme is "California Mansion" so the area is not as important to them.

After we complete these bookings, it will be on to the Yacht Promotion for the US and a repeat of the Castle booking for Canada (they are copying everything the US did).
Okay, it's a dirty job but someone has to do it :-) And don't forget I almost walked away from this good fortune a month ago.

I will post here and elsewhere when these new promotions run so the children in your life can enter. I believe it will be from October through February - the fulfillment dates are next summer.

A little side info...

My client mentioned that along with the large screen TV and other equipment they were having shipped to the Island this week, they were sending cartons of "Goldfish" - you know, those little fish crackers? (it's a Campbell owned company). And of course, even though there will be the butler and chef and gourmet meals along with the winners' favorite kid food, Campbell makes sure that their products are included, even in some of the recipes, and that there is always a "presence".

I wrote back to my contact:

"What? No Godiva Chocolate?"

You see, I discovered recently that Campbell owns Godiva. Wow. How's that for a match?

SECOND POST...

I am in the process of booking that "Hollywood" mansion for the upcoming (fourth) promotion for my client. I am still somewhat amazed that the initial project a year ago has turned into this series of promotions. Quite honestly, I was not previously aware of the extent companies go to and the magnitude of funds they spend for marketing. What an eye opener! I am also somewhat amazed that I would turn out to be their sole vendor for this aspect of the promotions - which have covered California, England and Central America (God bless the Internet!).

Today I received another email - after staring at this one, I have now become totally desensitized to prosperity shock. At this point, nothing, but nothing surprises me. I am feeling like Marilyn the Manifester. I think I will buy a lottery ticket :-)

The message I received (I will leave the name, company name and telephone number out for privacy)

"Hi Marilyn!

Please call me to discuss a fast-adapt program that we are undertaking in Canada similar to the Campbell’s Souper Star Mansion program that was run in the U.S. We are interested in the Malibu home used in the U.S. program. Looking forward to hearing from you ASAP. Please try me at (416) XXX-XXXX xXXX. Thanks!"

Now, some of you might recall that just recently I posted that I was going to let go of my corporate business entirely to devote myself exclusively to my prosperity program. Interesting how my intuition (that "guidance" I am always encouraging everyone to heed) just wouldn't let me cut the tie. Now I see why. The Universe was continuing to send me prosperity and I was supposed to keep the floodgates open.

I would like to share an interesting aspect of these particular promotions, with regard to marketing.

You may wonder, as I did last year, why a major corporation with a brand that everyone knows (Campbell Soup) would have to go to such an extent to market like this to millions of children. Last year they spent a total of $450 million dollars to promote to kids (someone sent me an article from "Promo" magazine, a trade publication, that gave the whole story and details).

When my client flew in last year, I asked them why Campbell had to do this, since everyone knew the brand well. The answer: Campbell used to be the soup that parents gave to their kids when they were sick. Now it's the COOL soup.

Half a billion dollars can buy cool. Did you know that?

:-)

FIRST POST...

On Sunday, the winners of my client, Campbell's Souper Star Castle Promotion are moving into that spectacular castle in England that I booked for this event. Eastnor Castle is the one that you see on my website and network that a Ryze member (and TFM member) found for me. You can also tour it here:

http://www.eastnorcastle.com

Now do you want to indulge in a bit of prosperity thinking?
Then relax and roam through this masterpiece (check out those bedrooms!). As I tell my students, "Build a castle...in your consciousness."

Anyway, the winner is an 11-year old boy who was supposed to bring 3 friends and his parents. That's the idea for the promotion and how it played out for the Mansion Promotion we did last summer in Malibu.

However, with all the exposure these promotions have gotten on television and online, the parents are wising up. You see, when the winner invited one friend, that friend's parents decided that THEY were going also. So now there are two sets of parents and two kids instead of the originally planned four kids and one set of parents.
Yep, that's pretty smart :-) So for one week, this troupe will be treated like celebrity royalty with butler, maid, mini Land Rovers, falconry, and on and on.

Next month is the fulfillment of the Island Promotion - Little Eden Cay off the shore of Nicaragua. http://www.little-eden-cay.com. This beautiful private island is owned by a wonderful gentleman, Martin. He and his wife have five (5!) kids. They have a home in New Zealand and have also raised the kids on the Island. They have even published a book about their incredible experiences: "Slice of Heaven, A Family on the Move".

First they bought a rundown church in Italy and turned it into a multimillion dollar estate and sold it. Then they bought this island, built the home and developed the land and have just sold the Island for $4 million (the new owner takes over in October). And now they have bought a property in France and will remodel that one. Now please keep in mind that they have five young kids. I'd say they are quite prosperous in every sense of the word :-)

Remember that New York Penthouse we were looking for the upcoming promotion?

The (not so) bad news: They scratched the New York theme.

The INCREDIBLE news: Instead they asked me to book another mansion that I had shown them last year (a different one than the one we booked in Malibu for them). So for the upcoming promotion, they are coming back to Los Angeles. Right here in my back yard.

I just LOVE manifesting "effortlessly".

So take a few moments and visit the castle and island and dream a little. Raise your prosperity frequency by imagining yourself in beautiful, prosperous surroundings.
Prosperity happens. Invite it.

The Brentwood mansion it is. My client's legal department did their due diligence and determined that the residence could indeed be a "Hollywood" mansion.

You know, this mansion and castle booking gig can get touchy at times.
