Kami Brown
Hello,

My name is Kami Brown, and I belong to a group by the name of BrightWomen. Our goal is to educate as people as we can about the dangers of toxins and chemicals in the products we use every day, and to offer a safer and healthier alternative.
Did you know that dishwashing detergent is the #1 cause of accidental poisoning in the US? Or that Tide contains lye and the shiny things in Tide Powder are fiberglass? We use these products because our mothers did, and they come from well-known companies, so we assume that they must be safe.
The truth is that household products aren't regulated, and it does not suit the companies' best interests to tell us what they really put in their products.
Formula 409 is considered a legal pesticide -- do you see that in their ads? And a mother's best friend - Lysol - contains phenols, which are caustic, and dioxin (better known as Agent Orange). Even our personal hygiene products and cosmetics contain chemicals such as formaldehyde and phenols.
The toxic chemicals in products like these have been linked to numerous health problems -- including asthma, allergies, breast cancer, reproductive problems, and learning and behavioral problems in children. Start protecting your family today and contact me for more information.
Thanks,
Kami Brown

Ok I see your point and understand that there are problems in everything--cleaners, global warming or cooling, conjested highways, trash that forgot to get to the pick up spot and so on.

If these product you refer to have this tremedous danger what do we do about the solutions they achieve. Lysol kills the germs, I would think that if a product does that it would have to have something harmful in it. Could it be that lack of knowledge on how to use these products could be causing the problems you suggest.

If there are alternitive products that achieve the results better than the others, lets us know. Informing the public is a good thing and keep up the good work.
