Good morning!

Where is everyone these days? It sure is quiet here in our Mary Kay world!:):)

I have a question or discussion for everyone:) I was speaking to my Director this week and also reading my MK Legal information. Did you know legally we are not supposed to use the words "Mary Kay" on any Internet site including Ryze? As Mary Kay consultants we can not use any Mary Kay images or graphics that are the sole owner of Mary Kay, Inc.??

Sometimes I find it frustrating and hard to promote our business when we can't say who we are in print. When we limit information we are trying to promote I feel some people think we are scamming them or not being honest.

Any thoughts? Love and many blessings for a Serving September! Leslie

We are not supposed to use the words "Mary Kay" on-line? At all? Oops! I guess I have goofed on that a few times here on Ryze. How do we let people know what we do? Hmmm! I might call the legal department tomorrow and ask for advice. If it is forbidden they must have suggestions to avoid a conflict with the agreement while continuing to promote ourselves.

Have a beautiful week!

Melinda,

Let me know what you find out. I've spoken to Veronica in the legal department and there is a packet on Intouch you can print out. If you look at my Ryze site I put "Independent Contractor" as the company name. I've been called on twice for misuse of what I had submitted online in the past. It wasn't anything at Ryze. I agree, it's hard to advertise when you can't use the name of the company.
Blessings, Leslie
