Mary Bristow | | HI, My name is Mary Bristow and I started selling Mary Kay in March of this year, although I have used it since I was about 16. I'm glad I joined this group, it looks like there is a lot of good and helpfull information for a new consultant. Heather posted some good questions for a new consultant and I see some good answers. I also saw some posts about "legalities" that prompted me:-)
I also am having trouble finding contacts. I am getting interested comments and giving out cards, but, no phone calls. I am also doing the preferred customer mailings with no response. (I was in a band for 10 years and had a mailing list that I selected names from that were regular band followers). I am doing a drawing here in Troy at a Fashion Bug store and I am hoping that helps. Our group had an open house that quite a number of people were invited to and only a very few showed up. Mainly family members of some of the consultants.
I have a couple of regular customers, but can't get beyond that.
