Since I mentioned spoken words in my previous post and how they can reveal our mindset, I came up with this idea and challenge for you.
How would you like to become aware of your mindset and your subconscious beliefs?
Here is a challenge for you that may reveal quite a lot about yourself and why you may not be prospering the way you want to in life.
At Radio Shack a few years ago, I bought a small inexpensive item that plugged into my telephone and also into a minicassette recorder I had (it can be plugged into any size recorder). I bought this in order to record a couple of affirmative "treatments" that one of my mentors gave me over the telephone. I was later able to play them back and listen to her beautiful words over and over.
I would like to suggest that you invest in this small piece of equipment (I'm sure most electronic stores would have this) and plug it into your telephone and a recorder while you are having some telephone conversations. Now once you set this up, just click "play" on your recorder when you answer or make your telephone call - and then forget about it. You have to forget that it's recording so that you can speak normally without giving any thought to being recorded.
After you have had several telephone conversations, play back your recordings and listen to your speech and the words and phrases that you use. What do your words tell you about yourself? Are you speaking like a prosperous person or from a lack consciousness?
I'm sure you could also just record live conversations instead of on the telephone, but I suspect you might be more self conscious about it. It seems to me that with a telephone conversation, you would be more apt to forget the equipment.
Anyone want to give this a try and see what your subconscious has to tell you about yourself?
Feel Free to Prosper students use certain lesson techniques that encourage their subconscious to support them and make them aware when they are not speaking from a prosperity standpoint.
But anyone can record themselves and be given a real clue about what is going on, on a subconscious level. In everyday life, we rarely listen to ourselves or even know what we saying much of the time, as so many words and phrases are merely habits that have created a groove in the mind and we spit them out unconsciously. But these can be the culprits that are keeping us from the prosperous life.

What an excellent idea. Now on to manifesting the wherewithall. Anyone else going to do this? If I knew someone was recording me I would probably be very careful what I said (lol).
It would be fun to go back and listen to the conversation-- noticing areas where Prosperity Consciousness was lacking.
I think it's a wonderful idea Marilyn.
