The 5th Annual False River Powerboat Championship races to run June 3-4, 2006

I would like to take a monment to welcome new member to LAPROUD. We have been away from board and the work has paid off. We will now take steps to take this network to the top.

In this post we will be looking for ideas that will assist in an all out campaign to take the False River Power Boat web site to a higher level. The reasons are simple.

• Louisana continues to strugle with the aftermath of Huricanes Katrina and Rita.
• Powerful offline advertising opportunities available from this Nationally recognized event.
• The proceeds from this event are distributed throughout the Community and Louisana Non-Profits to aid and help people who are in need of assistance.

You are probably asking yourself why I am posting this event here. Glad, you asked.

Eveyone here has a business they wish to promote and you have landed here  on LAPROUD. The true meaning of networking (in my opion) is to build business relationships that can and will help us all.

When you post to a board as this one we hope to build conversations and to gain insite to relevant topics that might guide in the right directions ending with successfull results. Some of you are from other states and hope to sell your products to LA residents. Others or internet consultants, IT professionals and the list goes on.

How do you harness the power of the people 

Ask specific questions.

Define the objective.

Build the business relationship.

So, lets begin.

What can you do to help False River Power Boats?

We will present before the board of directors of Solstar Shopping and Services directory the addition of a donations page on False River Power Boats website.

It's purpose will be to list those companies who donate to the event and recognizing those who donate with specail links to their website.

A donation of $140 will get you listed on the Power Boat site as a $140 contributor.

$100 will go to Power Boats, the remaining $40 will go to pay listing on 3 local direcories and Solstar Direcory.  This means power promotion to your site.

We will be working to raise $50,000.

When that happens what kind of message would that send to the Louisiana people involved with that event.

I know I have just gave you a lot to chew on so think about what can be done to take this to the higher level I metioned.
