I'm a happy camperViews: 1097

I enjoy spending the summers at our lake home. In order to run my businesses computer and long distance are a must. Last year I paid to have a 2nd phone line installed and unlimited long distance added. It served the purpose but dial-up was slow and had its limitations.

I decided this year that I really, really, really wanted high speed internet. So I put a request out to the universe for high speed internet and unlimited long distance phone service at a low price.

Last week I checked the local phone company website and discovered DSL in now available in the area. As I read the site to my surprise, I discovered that DSL could run off the existing phone line without affecting incoming and out bound calls. I like that, no 2nd phone line necessary.

What made me really smile was they had an introductory special on DSL. No set up fee, 1st month free and 1/2 price for the next 6 months.

I chose the self-installation package so I could get up and running by the weekend. To my surprise in the installation kit I discovered a gift certification for $10 off DSL or long distance service.

In my home office I have cable and I use Vonage for my long distance service. The cool thing about Vonage is you can take it with you and use the service with any DSL or Cable connection in NA.

I'm smiling at the Universe and the Universe is smiling at me. My request was answered and it cost me $50 plus tax for 4 months. That's 10% of what I paid last year.

Here's to staying connected with you while I enjoy a little piece of paradise.

Great manifestation, Terri!

Also, a wonderful reminder (thank you) for all of us to notice, recognize and be grateful for all the ways the universe blesses us.

I know that the universe often responds in unexpected ways. A friend insisting to pay for dinner, free tickets to a play, a great price on internet serivce and long distance all these are blessing from the universe.

Way to go!

It's interesting how all of the elements in synchronicity came together for you to enjoy even greater benefits of service for hundreds of dollars less this year.

Have I mentioned to you all that one of the great perks of becoming a student of prosperity laws is that savings and discounts of all kinds will follow you on the path? Suddenly it seems like the Universe becomes your personal shopper whose goal is to provide you with the best for your needs at the very best price.

This is not to be confused with a kind of "bargain" thinking that is based on lack and the consciousness and fear of not having enough. The spontaneous manifesting of savings comes when we accept prosperity as natural to us and know that the Universe is providing for all our needs. It's a joyful experience. We really do feel guided.

I recall many fun and exciting experiences of being guided specially in this way, and I will share a couple of them shortly.

And the adventure continues...

A couple days ago I knew I needed a new headset for my computer. The old one was shorting out on me and I could only hear bits and pieces of conversations.

I started looking around the Internet at sites that sold headsets and picked out one in particular that I really liked. It was a Logitech on sale for $29.95. Rather than paying the shipping and waiting a week or more for it to arrive I decided to shop locally.

Before I went into the store I decided $19.95 was a good price to spend. I actually saw in my mind a sales sticker with that price on it. My desire was to get a good quality headset at the best possible price. I put that thought out to the Universe and I walked into the store.

I walked over to the isle with the computer accessories and stopped in front of the headsets. I scanned what was there and my eyes stopped at the Logitech, the very one I saw online. I smiled when I saw the sales sticker price of $19.95. The regular price was $44.95 with an in store rebate of $25.00.

I had a store gift card that I received from my sister and her husband at Christmas that still had $9.95 left on it. I used the gift card and paid the balance of $13.00 in cash. I walked out of the store big smile on my face, looked up and thanked the Universe.

It's the Laws of Attraction!!!!

I have been practicing things like this ever since I read a book by Michel Losier on the subject.

WOW - Amazing things happen because I want them to. It really is that simple - but as Karen stated above – the most important part is to express your gratitude. By coming here and sharing your good news – you are showing just how thankful you are.

I wish all of you abundance!

Absolutely Jessa gratitude is so important. Since starting the FFTP lessons a few months ago I've been expressing a lot of gratitude.

Today I started lesson 4 entited "Release is Magnetic". I was amazed at all the things that came to mind that I can release in order to make room for what I really desire in all areas of my life.

It's time to clean up the clutter and create the vaccum.

Enjoy the journey

this is a wonderful thread :o)

I love reading these kind of stories... I'm happy for you!

And yes gratitude is so important! when I first learned about it I sat down to write my list and could only think of 3 things... I thought, "WHAT?!?!?" Now, I've realized how wonderful my life is and the list just keeps getting longer and longer and longer.....

Nice to see you here Christine!

I echo what everyone is saying here about gratitudes. I always knew how important it was to be grateful. What I didn't appreciate was how powerful it is when you consciously acknowledge what you're grateful for. I've also learned to be grateful for the things that haven't yet happened.
