Roger and Pamela Foulks | | Brand new as of 6/16/06, it is our desire to bring together a network of Ryzers within the Tampa Bay area. Most all of us are interested in better networking opportunities and we hope you will take advantage of this new area opportunity.
We hope to turn this into something bigger than an on-line experience by planning group activities where we can personally meet each other, have some fun, and grow at the same time.
We are interested in knowing if you would support such an effort, including a small annual donation from your pocketbook to help defray expenses.

As for introductions, I'm living and working in Pinellas County. My husband and I own and operate a title company, which I supplement and "feed the family business" so to speak as a realtor. It's neat to take a buyer to a For Sale By Owner property and have the seller ask me for a title company reference! I love it when that happens. :)
Most recently, I began working with another fellow Realtor in my office in our wellness business, Synergy Worldwide. What an amazing company and opportunity! We are getting very close to that "critical mass" time in a new company's life where we're going to grow by leaps and bounds in a short period of time. We're a fully-owned subsidiary of Nature's Sunshine Products, so it's a unique opportunity to have a start-up opportunity with the backing of an industry giant!
The ProArgi9 mentioned on my main page is an incredible product that will help so many people in so many different ways! Everyone in my extended family and network of friends is benefitting from it. I'm blessed to be here at this stage of the business.

I live in Tampa and was born and raised here. I'm rare in that I'm a bona-fide Floridian.
I'm on target to becoming a breast cancer survivor. My encounter with cancer has inspired me to promote awareness that cancer doesn't have to be a death sentence by linking to cancer survivors and hosting online talk shows. The Lord laid this upon my heart and it's His will that I must obey. My next show will be at 11am Eastern on 10-28-06.

I am a graphic designer located near the border of Pasco and Pinellas counties, and right on the Gulf of Mexico. I have been an artist my whole life, but I've been doing computer based design for about 14 years. I started out at a childrens publishing company in New York City, and then began doing freelance work as a side job which led to starting my own business 8 years ago. I was born in Long Beach, California to two native Floridians that had just been relocated because my dad was in the Navy. I was raised in Kansas City, Missouri and moved to Lincoln Park, NJ in high school. I bounced around NJ/NY/PA for a few years and then was in St. Augustine, then back to NJ, and finally down here where we are now. I spent a few weeks each summer and Christmas at my grandfather's farm in Brandon until I was in my late teens.
I've been married for 8 years, and with my husband for 15 years. We have owned restaurants all during our time together and he has only just left that industry to start selling mortgage life insurance. He's also figuring out that working from home isn't as easy as he thought it would be.
I have 3 kids, my son (18) and my daughters (6 and 7). I homeschool my daughters, and my son completed his home education 2 years ago and is now living on his own. My girls are both on a gymnastics team and we spend 4 hours a week there, but since it's in Clearwater and almost an hour from my house...we spend just as much time navigating US 19.
I am a horse addict, I was planning on moving to Ocala and we ended up here to be closer to my husbands family. When I get time, I try to go for riding lessons but my schedule is very full right now.
I'm happy to meet everyone here. I'm just learning the art of networking and while I'm spending lots of time trying to keep up, I am loving every minute of it.

Let me introduce myself, I am Sharon Steele, owner and chief designer of Sharon's A Basket Case. I have been in business since January of 2005. I love what I do, and enjoy more than anything delivering my work to the person who is to receive it. When I see the smile on their face I know that I have made someone happy.
I am proud to say that I am not a "Cookie-cutter" type designer. I am very creative in what I do. I love to think outside of the "Basket" and have been known to use some unusual containers for "baskets"

I would like to apologize for the delay in making my introduction. I've been a member for well over a year now (and 4 years with Ryze!) but failed to make the time for this until now. I am so happy to meet all of you!
I am the owner of CustomLabels4U.com which is in its 4th year and still growing. Our website is now a whopping 463 pages thanks to my very wonderful and talented friend and web designer Christina. (DynamicWebdesignz.com) We have worked together since its inception in 2003. Although we have never actually met in person (she lives in CA) we just "clicked" and work so well as a team. Christina's passion for web design and my ideas for new personalized products for the site have been a match made in Heaven for both of us! Although she has many other clients, she tells me I keep her the busiest! :-)
CustomLabels4U was an idea that started after the medical laboratory I worked for as a tech for 10 years in Clearwater went out of business. I always had a passion for making personalized "anything" and started making and selling address labels on ebay in 2002. It was keeping me busy enough while collecting unemployment that I decided it was time to try and start a web-based business with an attractive, hopefully eye-appealing website.
The business, although out of Dunedin, is 100% web based. My passion for anything personalized has blossomed into a successful internet business that I am so proud of. 4 years of very hard work and committment has paid off. It seems as though people really love to see their name on anything! It's a lot of fun knowing we make people smile.
I am also a very proud mommy of a Georgia Tech Electrical Engineer graduate who lives with her also GT "Techy" husband in Atlanta. She was supposed to come home to Dunedin after graduating but fell in love and never came home! LOL. But she is happy and that's what matters most!

Thus far, the salary for the job offers I have received in Tampa Bay have not even come close to the income level I have been accustomed to in Illinois. This said, I realize that I need to change careers to relocate and this is why I am open to any and all career opportunities that would allow me to utilize my education and experience while still providing me with reasonable wages. I will even work Part Time and/or job share for a company and save them the high cost of Full Time benefits in my field(s) of expertise.

Hi, Roger, Pamela and Tampa Bay; I am Ralph Brown (49). I have been married to Anne for 17 years, we have three children; Phillip (16), Heath (14), and Brittney (12 going on 25). In spite of me they are all great kids. We attend Northcliffe Baptist Church in Spring Hill, Florida.
You may have seen something on NBC, Fox, or CBS news. You may have read about us in the Tribune or The Times. I was the guy that took the Flats boat from North Carolina to Bermuda, then on to New York. For those who do not know, large areas of shallow water are called Flats. Boats that can operate in these shallow waters are called Flats Boats. Most flats boats have trouble in less than six inches or in waves larger than two feet. Mine run in less than four inches and can handle big seas. I proved it by taking one 1547 miles across the North Atlantic. The biggest waves we were in were over eight feet. Yes, we carried our own fuel.
The trip was recognized by Guinness Book of World Records (TM) and by the World Record Academy as the longest non stop ocean voyage in a Flats Boat. We went all by ourselves. We did not depend on a larger chase boat. It was kind of neat. I actually got a signed picture from the White House as a result.
The entire Gulf Coast of Florida with a few exceptions is shallow with occasional rocks. In the eight states surrounding the Great Lakes the economic impact of boating tops 20.5 billion dollars and 244,000 jobs and still there are harbor entrances that are in bad need of dredging. Much of the intercoastal waterways has not been dredged by the Army Corps of Engineers because of the high legal and environmental expenses. The stage is set for boats that can run in both shallow and rough water.
It is pretty interesting how I got into making boats, but I do not want to bore you. If you know someone who is looking for a great investment, this boat company is a great opportunity. I had been a long-time Ryze member and had to take a hiatus from online networking for a time, but now I'm back and looking to enjoy meeting new friends on Ryze.

I belong to a Sarasota leads club (Ali Lassen's leads) and I've learned a ton about networking and how to best help the people within your network. We do what are called "one-on-one" meetings and really get in-depth about each other's businesses, the ways each of us markets and thinking about the people that we know who would be the best leads for the other person.

I studied Information Systems and earned my master degree last September. I also studied a semester 'abroad' at the University of South Florida in 2005.
