Do you need permission to hyperlink?
What can you do if you are hyperlinked yourself, but you do not want to be associated with the website the link has been put on?
Can putting a hyperlink on a site be misleading?
Are you responsible for the content of the hyperlinks you use?
Kind regards,
Karel Frielink

Usually you are linked by sites that are related to your site, i.e. lawyering. If you dont want to be associated to the site that linked you, you can always email the author/site owner to remove your link from their site.
