Firefly, with Jack Ward, Andrew Dorfman, assorted cast, and an interview by
Dani at the end. Also including an introduction and some outtakes.
A firefly has been buzzing in my ear. I am not a great fan of sci-fi but I do
like to be blown away. I am not a great fan of cowboy pictures either but then
again "Firefly" has both sci-fi and cowboys, horses too, go fig.
"Firefly" is a ship, actually the ships name is Serenity but it has a
peculiar feature.....
Firefly was originally a show on television that ran for only a season, but
as it goes, it too had a following. It has been speculated that an online
version is available somewhere, an episode at least, but a
dvd is up for grabs.
But I did find something else, a blooper reel. Hey, the audio has a blooper
reel too! But here's the one that I found from the tv series at youtube....
Fire Fly Bloopers by the
crew and simpsons over
firefly a very funny parody.
The audio theatre by Andrew and Jack was awesome, ok Jack sings, all well and
good, but I got surprised by the orchestrated accompaniment. That was done by
their friend Sharon Bee. Actually the
hair on the back of my neck stood up, got chills. That isn't an easy thing to
do.
I can't say enough about audio theatre. I am not as hooked as Dani, but
sometimes we do share a Tuesday together if I get my sleeping habits right.
Check out, The
Firefly Episode and the rest of Sonic
Society podcasts that are edited and recorded by our fearless forum
moderator, Dani. She does some good work. I'd get her streaming,
but.............
OK, it isn't as difficult as it looks. But Danielle I think would get the
listeners. She has the voice for it. Anyway, seriously check out the POD up
there it is really great, hats off to Jack and Andrew on their fan rendering of
Firefly.
