I just had to post this.

One of my favorite movies is on tonight: "The Odd Couple." It is also the movie in which my favorite line is delivered.

Oscar: "You keep leaving little notes on my pillow. I keep telling you, quit leaving little notes on my pillow. Yesterday you left a note - 'We're all out of corn flakes, F.U.' It took me three hours to figure out F.U. stood for Felix Unger."

I may have paraphrased a tad - not sure - but I LOVE this line!

Debra:

Thx for posting this. I don't know if it's an absolute favorite, but I do love the following:

"Is that a pickle in your pocket, or are you really glad to see me?" Mae West

Of course, it's meant to be very sexually leading but I find it hysterically funny. My perverse mind leads me to think of a "Saturday Night Live" sort of scene, or better yet, "MAD TV" where, indeed . . . it really IS a pickle!! Oh, what a scene that could be!

Or maybe even "Whose Line Is It, Anyway?" Ever watch that show? Gosh, those guys have had me on the floor laughing -- & they can take a line & do some amazing things w/it.

Anyone else out there?

Blessings -- Linda

I love that line too! Richard Dryfuss delivered it years later in "Once Around" and it was hysterical again. Some things never go out of date.

Another favorite is from one of the Pink Panther movies: "Does your dog bite?" "No, monsieur, my dog does not bite." Dog bites. "I thought you said your dog does not bite." "That's not my dog." buh da buh!
