Its wonderful to hear from you... in fact, I was waiting to have conversations started in this network, and you seem to be the first one to break the ice. :))
I am so pleased to see the kind of people who are in this network.
I think it is possible to have a world that works for all. I feel amazed that while there is enough food on the earth for every one, there are countries where people die of hunger.. And of course, we believe that we can never live in a world of no war, and we therefore accept war. And we accept the fact that drugs, guns, drunken driving, drinking excessively etc is part of life, and we then pretend it does not affect us.
Perhaps we are all responsible for the way the world can go. From today. We need to start somewhere to have a world that works for all. Maybe we cannot do much. Maybe the sheer volume of what we need to do is so huge, that what we do will only be a drop in the ocean...
But should we therefore not start?
I am merely starting a debate here - one that we can use to create further thinking.. who knows, the members of this network can have the world sit up and THINK.
If we do what we can do NOW, our children who will inherit the world can live in a safer place.
My bio is all there in my page. It would be great to hear from other members, as Jon said.
And Jon, thank you for starting communication here. It is wonderful to have you here as a member.

Jon Waters | | I know how you feel, Jayashree. i'm with you with everything you stated. We always take for granted what we have, while others' suffer like no other.
