Bharath Cola | | Well, from my side this year the only difference was, our gang of family and friends was much larger than ever before, while bursting crackers and it was heartening to see our large extended family celebrate diwali in these days of nucleas families :-)
ofcourse, needless to mentioned the 2 10000 walas, 4 5000 walas, 250 shots and star wars kinda fire works :-)

Any pics taken outta these firecracker mayhem?? I really missed this year's diwali....felt very very bad being away from the family. The only festival which is close to my heart because of few things associated with it.I had few executive sponsored dinners etc..but nothing replaces mother's touch on the early hours of diwali for the oil bath and new clothes, blessings from parents and shouldn't forget to mention the sweets, eateries and the sweet friends who come to visit us.
I hope you guys had a blast....and again..BC what thread you have started in the Nuclear family times...may be that's why many didn't write in...or may be the festive moods hadn't got over some of 'em in Chennai Network.
BC, post few pics if you have. Cheers Shiva.

Arjun Arvind | | I did not celebrate Deepavali this year. My thought is " I am celebrating child labour, if I fire a cracker" Thats it. Nothing more than that. This knocks the door of my mind this year only when I happen to see a small boy who last his sensation in his right hand as he worked with crackers for long time. Private Reply to Arjun Arvind |
