Susan Graves | | It just dawned on me.
We say we are working for the American dream or people come to America for the American dream.
Maybe that is our problem.. Where are our dreams?
Why aren't people going after their own dreams?
Do we expect the country to give us our dreams?
Its been a long time since I was in school. Do schools teach children to dream these days?

Maria LC Salomão | | I think that "we the people" have become sooooo "busy" that we don't have time to just be, to just dream. It's all about doing and getting. It is in this environment where people do think for themselves. They don't get involved with their communities. They let public officials scare them into their votes, if they vote at all.
I ask what does being an American mean? Is it just paying taxes or does being a citizen of the United States also give us other duties?
