Leesa Peters | | Microwave friendly Tupperware does not release the high carcinogens as in most plastics.
You might want to consider this the next time to warm up that chicken, spagetti, or left over chili.
Most plastic storage containers release carcinogens when microwaved. Think about that the next time you are trying to save money with your Glad, Rubbermaid, and other generic brand names just to save a buck. Wouldn't it be better to save a life?
Those cheap containers release carcinogens every time you microwave. And guess what people? Do you know that white spot is? That is plastic decomposition. Decomposing plastic releases carcinogens even faster.
So, you could buy those less expensive, non guaranteed plastic containers and throw them away.
However, you can bet, they are still releasing carcinogens during the 1st use in the microwave.
So, let's be environmentally friendly, healthy and thrive to be better to ourselves and our environment.
The next time you see food labels state "use a microwave friendly dish" Think TUPPERWARE.
NO SUBSTITUTIONS!
Microwave safe food warmed up in Tupperware does not absorb carsinogens.
