Vikram Balakrishna | | Waiting For Lefty" by Version One Dot Oh!(VODO) is a vigorous and confrontational work by Clifford Odets based on the 1934 strike of unionized New York cab drivers. The dramatic style of the play is considered a prime example of a genre known as "revolutionary" or "agit-prop" theatre.
The play is a fund raiser for "Sattva" an emagazine in the social sector.
Sattva is a monthly e-magazine focusing on the the social change process in Bangalore. The magazine has been in operation since September 2006 and has spanned 9 issues on themes ranging from Waste management to Traffic to Children. (http://www.itihas.org.in/sattva.html)
